A NEW CHAPTER HAS LANDED! 🐯✈️

The Aeronautical Student Association had the opportunity to welcome the newest additions to the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Aeronautics fleet: N869BC and N868U! 🛩️🛩️

After approximately 13 hours of flying from Vero Beach, Florida to Puerto Rico, our two newest aircraft officially arrived at their new home. 🐯🇵🇷

A special thank you to Maximiliano Perez, Luis Rodríguez, Zabdiel Crespo, and Dean Dr. Jonathan Velázquez, who made the journey and brought our newest additions home.

We also extend our special thanks to President Jacqueline Álvarez for joining us in welcoming the aircraft and showing her support for this important moment for our aviation community.

These aircraft represent more than an expansion of our fleet. They represent new opportunities to learn, train, build experience, and prepare the next generation of aviation professionals.

ASA is proud to have been there to welcome N869BC and N868U home. 💙✈️

Our 2025–2026 Scholarship Award recipient is Yadiel Menendez.

Yadiel’s resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment throughout his training distinguished him among a group of exceptionally talented and passionate students. His hard work and perseverance embody the values this scholarship was created to recognize. ✈️

We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and hope that this award serves as a stepping stone toward even greater opportunities in the future.⭐️

Hey members and community,

Today we officially close out the 2025-26 academic year. We are incredibly grateful for every member, supporter, and friend who helped make this year special. Together, ASA was able to organize a lot of activities and reach new heights where we proudly represented our aviation community. ⭐️ All thanks to our more than 100 members ❤️.

Thank you for your trust, support, and enthusiasm throughout the year. ASA continues forward stronger than ever, with the same passion and commitment to students. ✈️

🌦️ What a night at the NWS!

We had an amazing time going behind the scenes, launching a weather balloon 🎈, and learning directly from experienced professionals. From hands-on activities to real-world insights, it was an unforgettable experience for everyone who attended.
