We cannot forget that we still live in a society where:

- el machismo thrives
- where a strong woman is considered a pelua
- where there is no pay equality
- where woman are passed up for executive positions
- where women receive only 4% of all small business loans from mainstream financial institutions
- where a woman is judged by what she wears and blamed if assaulted
- where a woman that does not cook is frowned upon
- where 1 in 8 women live in poverty and among minority women the rates are even higher

The cycle has to stop!
