BREAKING: MAGA Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem MELTS DOWN after country music superstar Zach Bryan releases a viral anti-ICE song, calls it "disrespectful" and insists that she never liked his music.
And it gets even more pathetic...
"I hope he understands how completely disrespectful that song is, not just to law enforcement but to this country," Noem said on the Benny Johnson podcast. "To every single individual that has stood up and fought for our freedoms. He just compromised it all by putting out a product such as that, that attacks individuals who are just trying to make our streets safe."
The idea that ICE agents are protecting anyone's freedoms or keeping our streets safe is laughable. These masked fascist enforcers are terrorizing minority communities, denying innocent people due process, tearing families apart, and turning America into a full-blown authoritarian dystopia. They grow more unpopular by the day.
Noem added that she was "disappointed and disheartened" with the song.
"Zach, I didn’t listen to your music. I’m happy about that today," claimed Noem. "That makes me very happy that I never gave you a single penny to enrich your lifestyle, if you truly believe what that song stands for."
The song in question is entitled "Bad News" and has yet to be released in full, but a teaser snippet that was released has gone viral on TikTok, racking up millions of view.
“And ICE is gonna come, bust down your door/Try to build a house no one builds no more/But I got a telephone,” Bryan sings. “Kids are all scared and all alone/The Boss stopped bumping, the rock stopped rolling," he continues, seemingly referring to Bruce Springsteen who has been outspoken in his anti-Trump beliefs.
“The middle fingers rising and it won’t stop showing/I got some bad news/The fading of the red, white and blue,” Bryan adds.
Bryan, a U.S. Navy veteran, knows exactly what it means to actually serve this country unlike Noem and her sub-literate, violence-prone ICE goons. He’s known for such hits as “Something in the Orange” and “I Remember Everything.”
In a statement on Instagram released after the MAGA backlash kicked up, Bryan wrote that he "wasn’t speaking as a politician or some greater-than-thou a**hole, just a 29 year old man who is just as confused as everyone else."
"Left wing or right wing, we’re all one bird and American," he wrote, adding that "I am SO proud to have served in a country where we can all speak freely."
Republicans are panicking over this song because it serves as a bellwether in the culture war. If conservatives are losing country music, it's a sign that the entire nation is turning against them.
