👍🏽👍🏽Did you know some cats are born with extra toes that look like tiny thumbs? Meet Kanga! This CDG-supported gato — just like Ernest Hemingway's famous polydactyl felines — might not have true opposable thumbs, but those extra digits give him some seriously impressive climbing and gripping skills.
Why not put your thumbs to work and tap out a donation to CDG today! 📲🙌💵 Kanga and Co. will thank you! See link in bio. 🔗

🐾 𝗴𝗔𝘁𝗢𝘀 𝗙𝗔𝗰𝗧𝗼𝘀 🐾 A cat’s sense of hearing is amazing!

🐭 Super Frequencies • Cats hear up to 65,000 Hz (humans stop at 20,000 Hz)—easily detecting sounds we miss!

📡 Swiveling Radar • With 32 muscles per ear, they can rotate them independently 180 degrees to pinpoint sounds instantly.

🤷🏻‍♀️ Distance Champions • They hear sounds 4 to 5 times further away than humans can.

🎤 Natural Amplifiers • Their outer ears act as built-in acoustic funnels to capture high frequencies.

💤 Always Alert • Even while sleeping, their ears keep twitching and processing sounds like a radar system!

And did you hear? CDG cares for Rincón colony cats every day!

🍽️ These hungry newcomers at a Rincón colony are looking stronger and healthier every day! 😺 Early Neutering helps prevent spraying, roaming, and aggressive behaviors as they mature. 🐈 It significantly reduces the risk of testicular infections and certain cancers. Kittens can become fertile as early as 4 to 5 months of age, so neutering early also helps combat overpopulation. 🐈‍⬛ Your donations help CDG ensure better lives for gatitos like these. Please donate today. Every dollar helps! 💵
