Hi Friends! Meet Goldo. His owners recently contacted us for help with heart meds. Thankfully, we could help because of the kind medical donations we receive from our supporters. These medications help not only our surgical patients but also animals throughout the island. We are grateful to provide life-saving medications to the animals that need them most. ⚕🐾 Prayers for Goldo🙏

Meet Britany! Britany was rescued from the streets of PR, but unfortunately, her owners moved to the mainland and couldn't take her. She is now looking for her furever-forever home. Britany is described as very playful and fun, loving other animals and kids. She is 2 years old, weighs 30 pounds, and is vaccinated, spayed, and heartworm-negative. She is leash-trained and housebroken. She would do best with a yard, as she loves being active and going for walks. If you would like more information on Britany, please contact her foster Iraily at [email protected].

Meet Browney. Recently rescued, Browney will now receive the medical care she needs to live a happy and healthy life! At 6 months, she is the perfect age to be sterilized so that she never has the opportunity to have puppies. No puppies for Browney means no unwanted puppies to rescue! 💗🐾 WOOF!

Meet Frank. Frank was abandoned, and a kind soul has been feeding him outside their home. Now they want to provide Frank with medical care and possibly a home. We are making his vet care possible so that Frank can live a healthier life, without impregnating female dogs. AND with his medical care provided, he may now have the possibility of a forever home. Your donations make help for Frank possible. ⚕🐾💗

We're greatly concerned about the price of vet care. That's why we work so hard to provide discounted spay and neuter services. 🐾💙⚕ People shouldn't have to go in debt to care for their pets. We need change.

Our emotional relationships with our pets have only grown since the pandemic — and so has the financial price we pay.

When we started Island Dog in 2006, we envisioned an island free of abandoned beach dogs. 20 years later, we still have work to do. By spaying and neutering, we stop animals from being dumped and ultimately prevent suffering. You can help by joining our mission at www.islanddog.org.

Meet Igor, Molly, Noa, and Ula. These 4 were rescued, but their owners struggled to afford medical care. Now, thanks to Island Dog's Spay and Neuter program, they are getting the vet care they need to live healthier lives. 💗🐕⚕🐾 Together we can PREVENT Suffering and bring more smiles!!

Her face is just heartbreaking 💔 A kind volunteer is helping her receive food, love, and care, and we want to help with her medical costs. Please consider making a donation today to help her and the many other dogs living alone on beaches across the island.

Help us prevent suffering before it begins. Donate today at www.IslandDog.org ❤️

Sleeping with your pups has never been better for you!

A surprising new study found that people who sleep near their dogs don’t experience disrupted sleep. If anything, we humans are the ones disturbing our dogs’ sleep.
