🇵🇷 For our children, the water truck has become part of daily life.

💧Nearly three weeks into Puerto Rico’s water crisis, 130,000 residents continue to depend on emergency water deliveries throughout Carolina, and neighboring communities.

🙏 We are deeply grateful to the police officers, water truck drivers, municipal workers, emergency personnel, & all those working around the clock to keep our communities supplied with water.

🩵 Thank you for your dedication, service, and care.

✨ Nourishing Body & Soul

This week we explored: From Honest Scouts to Sinister Spies, The Slippery Slope of Moral Erosion

The spies didn’t wake up evil — they slipped there.
What begins as a small shift in perspective can quietly grow into doubt, fear, and moral failure. This week’s class unpacked how the story of the spies teaches us to recognize those warning signs early — and choose faith, courage, and clarity instead.

📖 Torah study. Meaningful discussion. Real-life takeaways. And refreshments, of course. 🕍

🌸 The Jewish Women’s Circle of Puerto Rico gathered for a beautiful Blooms & Create evening — filled with creativity, inspiration, and meaningful connection.

Together, we designed floral resin vases to take home, bringing the beauty and spirit of Shavuot into our lives in a tangible way.

✨ Mushkie shared a deeper insight into the Aseret Hadibrot, the Ten Commandments, ancient wisdom that remains deeply relevant to our modern lives.

A beautiful night of creativity, Torah, and connection. 🌷Chag Sameach & Shabbat Shalom!

Puerto Rico gathers in prayer and reflection as we commemorate America’s 250th anniversary — invoking our shared belief that freedom is a sacred gift bestowed by the Creator, and that the strength of a society is measured not merely by prosperity or power, but by the values we pass on to our children and the kindness we show one another.

Honored to join Governor Jenniffer González-Colón, Lcdo. Juan M. Gaud, Director of Faith-Based Affairs, distinguished leaders, clergy, and community members in offering blessings for the United States, Puerto Rico, and all humanity — for peace, moral clarity, unity, and hope.

“As a representative of the Chabad global movement, inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of righteous memory, I would be remiss not to emphasize the importance of education — not merely education of the mind, but education of the heart and education of the soul.”

May G-d continue to bless America and Puerto Rico. 🇺🇸🇵🇷

A beautiful evening in every way, celebrating the inauguration of a new Torah dedicated in honor of R’ Sholom Ber Horowitz and his grandchildren, MZ, Nader AJ, Mira Fuchrer, & Maya Hurwitz, together with the Regional Conference of Caribbean Shluchim, gathering in Puerto Rico from 17 different islands to collaborate, share ideas, and strengthen our communities.

The joy at the completion of the Torah was truly palpable.

As the Rabbi shared: when we lift the Torah, our tradition teaches that in that very moment, the Torah is also lifting us.

The Torah is not a burden. The Torah is our strength. It makes us lighter, allows us to soar, and helps us experience our truest self.

17 Shluchim from across the Caribbean islands gathered in Puerto Rico to reflect on the growth and future of our Jewish communities throughout the region. 🌴

Together, we brainstormed how to strengthen and expand our communities, with a special emphasis on engaging and inspiring the youth. ✨

The Kinus also served as a springboard for one another — sharing ideas, support, and guidance in addressing the unique challenges and complexities that arise within smaller and more isolated Jewish communities. 🤝

During the Caribbean Regional Conference, Jewish leaders from 17 Caribbean locations gathered in Puerto Rico — a place rich in history, heritage, diversity, tolerance, and breathtaking beauty.

As part of the conference, we visited the historic La Fortaleza, the Governor’s Mansion, where we were deeply honored and pleasantly surprised when Governor Jenniffer González-Colón graciously took time from her very full schedule to welcome our distinguished group.

In her remarks, the Governor shared that “you cannot govern without God,” emphasizing the importance of faith, moral clarity, and spiritual values in leadership and public life.

Her warm reception reflected a shared recognition of the vital role that education, faith, spirituality, and moral courage play in strengthening society and guiding the lives of all citizens.

A meaningful and memorable moment in beautiful Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷

✨ Torah lecturer Rabbi Meir Eliyahu shared beautiful words of Torah and inspiration with the Caribbean Shluchim at the Kinus HaShluchim in Puerto Rico, relating to the upcoming Chag of Shavuos.

Concluding his Torah message, he spoke passionately about the Rebbe and the global impact of Chabad. Rabbi Eliyahu reflected on how the Rebbe transformed the Jewish world forever — creating a movement that reaches every corner of the globe with love, Torah, and connection.

“The world before the Rebbe and after the Rebbe is a completely different world.”

He expressed how fortunate we are to live not in the world before the Rebbe, but in a world shaped and inspired by the Rebbe — with the Rebbe’s impact continuing to be felt globally.

We returned from a powerful 36 hours of inspiration, uplift, and prayer, centered around a meaningful visit to the Ohel of the Rebbe, of righteous memory.

The experience included time for reflection and prayer at the Ohel, davening in the Rebbe’s private room, and a special tour of the Rebbe’s Library, home to one of the most significant collections of Jewish books and manuscripts in the world.

We came away inspired and empowered, carrying with us prayers for healing, well-being, strength of spirit, and continued blessing — that each of us may live with purpose and fulfill our Divine calling.

May our prayers be received on High, and may they bring revealed blessings for our community and for all in need.
