Our Silvered Wings series of aircraft renditions by Maj. Ron Finger continues with the Alexander Eaglerock, a versatile three-place, open-cockpit biplane. Civil Air Patrol flew NC638W during World War II out of the Michigan Wing, making it the only Alexander Eaglerock model on the CAP wartime service roster. https://www.cap.news/silvered-wings-alexander-eaglerock-a-15-1931/

The T-41 trainer is next in Maj. Ron Finger's Silvered Wings series of historic Civil Air Patrol aircraft renderings. Beginning in 1964, the U.S. Air Force used it as a beginning training aircraft before proceeding to the T-37 jet trainer. Civil Air Patrol’s Congressional Squadron flew N5175F out of Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland — now Joint Base Andrews. Read more https://bit.ly/41p9pGj.

¡Ayer Nuestro escuadrón tuvo su Safety Day!

Yesterday, our squadron had its Safety Day!

We started by receiving a visit from Lt Col Martínez R., who gave us an orientation on the activities the Wing has planned for this year. It was an excellent opportunity to learn about upcoming events, provide suggestions, and explore ways to get more involved.

After that, 2d Lt Vale gave an essential Safety class, where cadets learned about potential risks they may face and the materials they should always carry at all times.

Later, SM Lamboy W. captured everyone's attention with an educational talk about the equipment inside an ambulance. He explained the use of the stretcher, medications, and emergency kit while cadets took the opportunity to ask questions and clarify doubts.

In the afternoon, cadets took their exams to promote to the next rank.

A big thank you to SM Lamboy for bringing the ambulance and, most importantly, for teaching the cadets so they could gain that valuable knowledge!
