Are you coming to Zielona Góra for your Erasmus semester soon? 🇵🇱✨
We’ve prepared a few tips to help you settle in and make the most of your time here:
☀️ Be ready for all kinds of weather. Summers can be warm and sunny, but evenings may get chilly, and the weather can change quickly, so bringing a light jacket is always a good idea.
🛒 Daily shopping is easy and affordable. You’ll find supermarkets, local stores, and shopping centres across the city, and the cost of living is generally lower than in many other European Erasmus destinations.
💰 Zielona Góra is a student-friendly city when it comes to expenses. Public transport, groceries, and eating out are usually budget-friendly, helping you enjoy your Erasmus experience without spending a fortune.
🚌 The city has a reliable public transport network, but many places can also be reached on foot or by bike.
🌳 Although it’s a smaller city, there’s always something happening. From student events and cultural activities to cafés, restaurants, parks, and local festivals, you’ll quickly find your favourite places.
🌍 Erasmus is about more than studying. Join events, meet new people, travel when you can, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Some of your best memories will come from unexpected moments.
