Dance It Out poprowadzą Julia Asperska i Konrad Kurowski wraz z zaproszonym artystą Igor Shugaleev.
❓What can movement practice tell us about resilience, care, and working conditions in the cultural sector? What can happen when we repeat a movement until we reach a state of exhaustion?
On September 17th 2026 in Wrocław, as a part of Polish Dance Platform 2026, we will meet for another LAB session within the Practice of Change programme. Dance It Out will be led by Julia Asperska and Konrad Kurowski, together with invited artist Igor Shugaleev. Initiators of the program are Karolina Wycisk and Ula Zerek.
🔴 The starting point will be Igor Shugaleev’s artistic practice and the choreography of his performance Ich heiße Frau Troffea. We will work with repetition, the transformation of movement, exhaustion, and monotony, exploring what emerges when we push beyond our physical limits.
🔴 In the second part of the LAB, we will move from movement practice into a conversation about resilience, sustaining action, and ways of working in the cultural sector. We will consider how embodied experience and tools developed through artistic practice can support more sustainable and resilient models of collaboration and production.
The event is closed and intended exclusively for partners.
