Thanks to everyone who joined the visit to Vladimir Hramovich’s exhibition Margins at TBA. Special thanks to Petro Vladimirov for the tour and the conversation. It was interesting to take a closer look at the exhibition and discuss a broader context - contemporary practices, as well as how institutional and commercial art frameworks differ

2 апреля, в этот четверг, в 16:00 пойдем в TBA на выставку Владимира Грамовича “Margins”.

Это первая персональная выставка художника в Варшаве и его первый сольный показ в галерее TBA. Проект обращает внимание на то, что часто остается вне исторической памяти: забытые образы, сюжеты и вещи, которые как будто существовали, но не вошли в официальный рассказ.

Во время визита куратор Петро Владимиров .vladimirov проведет экскурсию по выставке. Мы посмотрим экспозицию, лучше поймем идею проекта и обсудим центральное произведение - фреску When the banner becomes a landscape, созданную специально для пространства.

Together with .artnomads and .art, we visited studio.

There, we encountered her works and spoke about a practice shaped at the intersection of contemporary art, science, and urban materiality. Diana shared more about Warsaw’s post-industrial landscapes, the city’s anthropogenic layers, and found materials that become part of her research.

Among the works were cyanotypes and pigments gathered from the urban environment. We also spoke about transitional sites: landfills, abandoned areas, and zones of tension between nature and development, where life begins to emerge again.

It is striking how much precision, care, and depth there is in the way she works with such complex matter.

Вчера сходили в мастерскую польской художницы Дианы Лелонек.

Посмотрели её работы и поговорили о практике на стыке современного искусства, науки и городской материи. Диана рассказала о постиндустриальных ландшафтах Варшавы, городских слоях и найденных материалах, которые становятся частью её исследования.

Увидели цианотипии, пигменты из городской среды и поговорили о пространствах перехода, где природа снова прорастает сквозь застройку.

Спасибо художнице и всем, кто пришёл, - за внимание, вопросы (и печенье🌝).

Bringing you the final BLAU MAP 2025 edition, we introduce Diogo Barros Pires from Portugal.

Diogo thinks in series: faces that age, shift palette and move from sheet to sheet, like chapters of one long story. In the background there is another structure, his training in economics and the daily work of running Safra Lx, an artist-run workshop in Lumiar. Studio, shared space, city walks and lunch cafés all fold into one practice.

Prague, drawn in lines and intervals.

In our new BLAU MAP conversation, Prague-based artist Taja Spasskova speaks about inner freedom as a precondition for mastery, about residencies, and about why drawing remains her main instrument. Through her practice, Prague appears as a compact, dense scene where you still have to think beyond the country’s borders.

We met her while she was preparing the exhibition Matter of Absence at Galerie Františka Drtikola Příbram .cz, where her abstract drawing extends into space. We also talked about how the show focuses on what happens between things: light and shadow, movement and stillness, matter and emptiness — the “in-between,” where presence starts to form.

We’ll guide you from your photo to a deep-blue print you can hold — slow, tactile, and calming.

Led by Sveta Petushkova, Belarusian artist (MA) and member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union. She works across graphics, painting, and cyanotype; curator, educator, your lab mentor.

Bring 1–2 photos to turn into handmade cyanotypes.
