Mount Apo is the roof of the entire Philippines. Standing over 9,600 feet in Mindanao, it's the country's highest peak, and climbing it is considered a rite of passage for serious Filipino mountaineers who train for months before attempting the summit trail.

The mountain is actually a potentially active volcano, though it hasn't erupted in recorded history, and its slopes host incredible biodiversity including the critically endangered Philippine eagle, the country's national bird, which nests in the surrounding forest reserves.

Indigenous Lumad communities, including the Bagobo and Manobo peoples, consider Mount Apo sacred ancestral ground, which is why permits, guides, and respectful conduct are required for anyone attempting the climb rather than treating it as an open trail. The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw, Poland intends to conduct Overseas Voting Field Registration in KATOWICE, POLAND, on 21 November 2026, in connection with the 2028 Philippine National Elections.

Prospective applicants residing in Katowice and surrounding areas such as Krakow, Czestochowa, Opole, Gliwice, and Bielsko-Biala, are encouraged to register through this online form on or before 23 September 2026.

Let's Walk Together
Through the History of Warsaw
Friday, 18 September 2026, 17:00 (5:00pm)

Centrum Wielokulturowe w Warszawie is organizing a special walk through Łazienki Royal Park, where we’ll discover not only one of Warsaw’s most beautiful places, but also a fascinating part of Polish history.

We’ll explore the history of Łazienki and the time of King Stanisław August Poniatowski, who created his summer residence here. We’ll talk about Polish kings, court life, culture, and the events that shaped Poland. Along the way, we’ll visit the park’s most important sites and discover the stories behind its palaces, monuments, and gardens.

There will also be a fun, hands-on activity – throughout the walk, we’ll take on small challenges and puzzles connected with the history, architecture, and nature of Łazienki. Together, we’ll look for hidden details and see what the park itself can tell us about Poland’s past.

Come and discover Łazienki not only as a beautiful park, but as a place where Polish history, culture, and memory come together.

🌏As part of the “Pomoże może więcej” project, we offer a free Polish language course for employees (26 lessons × 90 minutes, available online or in person) at any proficiency level (A0–C1), as well as preparation courses for the B1/B2 exams.

🌏Course Objective: The goal of the course is to improve the language skills and competencies of immigrant employees working at your company, which will positively impact their mobility and potential for career advancement at their current workplace, as well as their adaptation and ability to become self-reliant in the work environment.

🌏Who is this offer intended for: Employers with their registered office or primary place of business in the Pomerania region who employ at least 15 immigrant employees interested in learning Polish.

🌏Employers interested in participating in the project are required to complete the application form by September 4, 2026.

🌏To participate in the project recruitment process, two mandatory criteria must be met:
• As of the date of submitting the application form, the employer must employ at least 15 immigrants interested in learning Polish,
• the employees—potential course participants—belong to the target group and are eligible to participate in the project (see the form for details on the criteria).
