Meet Aparajita Bhattacharjee from Krakow, a professional Kathak practitioner and teacher.

For the last one decade, she has been performing across Krakow and other cities in Poland on different occasions, carrying our classical heritage far from home.

And this Pujo, she is bringing that same rhythm and devotion to Warsaw.

In Kumartuli, the most senior shilpi does Chokkhudaan in absolute silence. With one stroke of black, clay gets Drishti. And we get Darshan.🙏🏻

It’s said: Maa doesn’t see the idol. She sees through it. And the first thing she sees is us.🥹

That’s why Chokkhudaan is not art. It’s awakening.✨
