🇵🇱 August 1st, 1944. A day to remember, a story to carry forward. Remembering the Warsaw Uprising.

One of the projects especially close to the heart of Rotaract Fryderyk Chopin is centred around remembering the Warsaw Insurgents and the stories they carry that transcend time.

Today, we honoured that history with Insurgent Stefan, who was just 11 years old during the Warsaw Uprising. After the commemoration of the day, we kayaked, and at 5:00 p.m., the “W” Hour, we stopped to remember. 🕔🇵🇱

For a moment, Warsaw stood still.

Today reminded us that the Warsaw Uprising was more than a chapter in history, it remains a powerful part of Poland’s story. And some stories are bigger than history books. They remind us of courage, resilience, sacrifice, and the meaning of freedom.

We remember. We listen. We carry the stories forward. ❤️🤍

✨ Day 3 = unforgettable experiences. 🤩

From crafting our own chocolate 🍫 and tackling team challenges at TEP Factor 🧩 to stepping into a world without sight at the Blind Exhibition. 🌑 We are constantly reminded that the best adventures challenge both our minds and our perspectives. 😉

🌍✈️ It doesn’t look like it… but we travelled all around the world! 😄

With a little geography, a lot of teamwork, and some serious compass skills, our campers found themselves hopping from continent to continent, without ever leaving Warsaw! 📍🇵🇱🌎🤣

☁️ The exploration continues…

From stare miasto (old town), to our next highlight: Varso Tower - the tallest building in Europe! 🏙️✨ With stunning views, endless photo opportunities 📸, and plenty of ‘wow’ moments, this was definitely one for the books!

Warsaw in the clouds, sky-high views, unforgettable moments, and memories that will last a lifetime. 🥹🤩
