Zapraszamy do udziału w szkoleniu „Participatory EU Enlargement – przyszłość rozszerzenia Unii Europejskiej” organizowanym przez Fundację Instytut Europejski w ramach projektu PEN. Spotykamy się w Krakowie, 25–26 czerwca 2026 r. (z opcją dodatkowego noclegu do 27 czerwca).

🚀 C-SUSTAIN is a 24-month + project with a €250,000 budget, empowering young people across Europe with skills in circular economy, digitalization, and sustainable entrepreneurship to drive the green transition.

🤝 The project brings together a strong European consortium of 6 partners from 5 countries:
BildungsLAB, CRADLE, Fundacja Instytut Europejski / The European Institute Foundation Fundacja Instytut Europejski / The European Institute Foundation, EUth, Roscommon LEADER Partnership, and FINNOVA FOUNDATION.

The CineVET Toolkit was created through a collaborative process between all project partners, combining expertise in vocational education, filmmaking, digital tools and entrepreneurship 🤝

It is a practice-oriented learning resource designed to support VET trainers and learners in developing skills in digital storytelling, audiovisual production and creative collaboration. A key step in its development was a training session for VET educators held in Istanbul, where the toolkit was tested in real workshop conditions. Participants worked hands-on with its materials, helping to refine and improve its final version based on direct feedback and practical use.

🌍🇧🇪 The delegation of the European Institute Foundation is currently in Mons, Belgium, participating in a training course the CivicMath project.

📚 CivicMath combines mathematics with civic education to support the development of critical thinking, media literacy, and active citizenship among young people. Through workshops, training modules, and educational resources, the project provides youth workers and educators with practical tools for engaging young people in the analysis of social issues using mathematics.

🤝 We are happy to exchange experiences, develop new competences, and strengthen international cooperation together with partners from across Europe.

Suemi was a participant in the C-SUSTAIN Makeathon held in Valencia on March 31st, where innovation and sustainability came together in a hands-on learning experience.

🌍 April at a glance: empowering youth, driving innovation, and celebrating our planet
This month has been a powerful reminder of the role young people play in building a more sustainable and innovative future.

💻 On April 17 – European Youth Information Day, we highlighted the importance of giving young people access to reliable and meaningful information—because informed youth are empowered to shape their own future.

🎨 On April 21 – Creativity and Innovation Day, we celebrated how ideas can become real solutions. Through C-SUSTAIN, we support young people in turning creativity into sustainable and impactful initiatives, fostering entrepreneurship and circular economy thinking.

🌱 And today, April 22 – Mother Earth Day, we put the focus on our planet.
Today is a reminder that sustainability is not just a choice, but a shared responsibility.

Through the C-SUSTAIN project, together with our partners EUth, Fundación Finnova, CRADLE-Promotion of Creativity, Innovation and Sustainable growth, Roscommon Leader Partnership, Bildungslab we continue empowering young people to become active changemakers for a greener, more resilient Europe.

The first part of our documentary film workshops took place on April 17th at Centrum Obywatelskie in Kraków .krakow, as part of the European project "CineVET: Innovating Vocational Training in Cinema and Digital Arts" 🎥

This session introduced participants to the fundamentals of documentary filmmaking - exploring different forms and traditions of the genre, as well as the basics of visual storytelling, light, and script development 💡

The workshop was led by Beata Migas, who guided participants through practical aspects of directing and storytelling, and Andrzej Dybczak, who brought an anthropological perspective to documentary practice - reflecting on the relationship between filmmaker and reality 🌍

This was the first of four workshops supporting participants in developing their own documentary projects.

The workshops are co-organised by Haddock Entertainment and the European Institute Foundation 🤝

We’re excited to continue this journey and see how these ideas evolve in the coming sessions!

Istanbul in the rain, but still cinematic 🎬🌧️

Looking back at our CineVET training in Türkiye - a few intense days filled with studio visits, discussions and shared experiences.

From the Istanbul Cinema Museum to behind-the-scenes insights into TV production, this training was about learning, connecting and seeing cinema from different perspectives.

Grateful for the people, the conversations and the inspiration ✨
