🌍✨ Empowering Youth Workers for Peace ✨🌍
We just wrapped up an inspiring 5-day international training in Lithuania, bringing together 30 youth workers from 6 countries with one shared goal: to build a more peaceful and inclusive world. 💪🏽🌱
This project focuses on nonviolent conflict transformation, equipping youth workers with tools and strategies to tackle violence and promote peace — in Europe and beyond.
Through workshops, and group activities, participants:
🔹 Explored concepts of conflict transformation, peacebuilding, and nonviolence
🔹 Gained practical tools to address and manage conflicts peacefully
🔹 Started working on Erasmus+ project proposals to carry their ideas forward
🔹 Built strong, long-term partnerships for future peacebuilding collaborations
Why does this matter?
Because youth are not just affected by conflict — they are key players in creating change. Through youth work, we support:
✅ Prevention – by teaching empathy, dialogue, and conflict resolution
✅ Inclusion – by amplifying marginalized voices
✅ Empowerment – by giving young people the skills and confidence to lead
