W tym tygodniu, podczas II Posiedzenia Parlamentu Studentów kadencji 2025/26, gościliśmy Prorektora ds. studenckich i jakości kształcenia, dr. hab. Macieja Rasia, prof. UW, który przedstawił nam aktualny stan prac nad wnioskami o stypendium rektora.
Z przekazanych wyjaśnień wynika, że mimo zakończenia weryfikacji większości dokumentów, procedura przyznawania świadczeń musiała zostać wstrzymana. Dlatego niektórzy z Was wciąż muszą czekać na ostateczne rozstrzygnięcie swoich wniosków.
Powodem opóźnienia są trwające prace legislacyjne nad nowelizacją przepisów. Jeżeli wejdą one w życie, zmieni się sposób naliczania środków z dotacji ministerialnej na stypendia. W obecnej sytuacji ustalenie ostatecznych progów punktowych oraz kwot stypendiów jest niemożliwe bez znajomości finalnego budżetu, co wymusza przesunięcie terminu wydania decyzji.
W obliczu tych wyzwań Parlament zajął stanowisko w sprawie ewentualnego podziału środków. W ciągu kilku dni opublikujemy przyjętą uchwałę w tej sprawie. Po długiej dyskusji, trwającej przez większą część posiedzenia, Parlament zarekomendował wariant zakładający przyznanie stypendium w wysokości 1000 zł dla 6% najlepszych studentów.
Należy podkreślić, że jest to propozycja na wypadek wariantu wymuszającego oszczędności. Wciąż mamy głęboką nadzieję, że możliwe będzie utrzymanie stypendium na jak najbardziej korzystnych dla osób studiujących zasadach.
Liczymy również na to, że procedowana ustawa ostatecznie opuści Senat w formie, która nie wpłynie negatywnie na sytuację osób studiujących na naszym Uniwersytecie.

This week, during the 2nd Sitting of the Students’ Parliament for the 2025/26 term, we hosted the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Teaching, dr hab. Maciej Raś, prof. UW. He presented the current status of the Rector's scholarship applications.
According to the explanations provided, although the verification of most documents has been completed, the procedure for granting benefits had to be put on hold. Consequently, some of You must still wait for the final decision regarding Your applications.
The reason for this delay is the ongoing legislative work regarding amendments to national regulations. If these changes come into force, the method of calculating funds from the ministerial subsidy for scholarships will change. In the current situation, it is impossible to establish final point thresholds and scholarship amounts without knowing the final budget. This forces a postponement of the decision-making process.
Faced with these challenges, the Parliament has taken a position regarding the potential distribution of funds. We will publish the adopted resolution on this matter within the next few days. After a long discussion that took up the majority of the sitting, the Parliament recommended a variant that provides a scholarship of 1,000 PLN for the top 6% of students.
It must be emphasized that this proposal is a contingency plan in case of a scenario requiring savings. We still maintain a deep hope that it will be possible to maintain the scholarship on terms that are as favorable as possible for students.
We also hope that the bill currently being processed will leave the Senate in a form that does not negatively impact the situation of students at our University.
