Pojawiła się pierwsza angielska edycja Rocznika Strategicznego - Strategic Yearbook 2012/13! Już niedługo udostępnimy go w wersji PDF na naszym profilu.
Po raz pierwszy ukazała się angielska (jeszcze mocno okrojona) edycja Rocznika Strategicznego, jak napisał Redaktor Naczelny: Strategic Yearbook cannot be regarded as simply an English version of the Polish Rocznik Strategiczny. Rocznik, which was first published in the mid-1990s, is not limited to hard security questions but covers a large spectrum of international problems with broad security impact, including the geopolitical dimension. This year, we decided to publish in English only a part of Rocznik, i.e. section entitled The Observatory of Security. The section’s objective is to focus on security sensu stricto. It begins with a general review of the international situation, followed by a thorough analysis of specific aspects of both global and regional security. For obvious reasons, special attention is given to the security developments in Eastern Europe. The hope of the team of authors representing the Institute of International Relations (University of Warsaw) is to offer foreign readers a competent insight into the most important and interesting tendencies and events in the security realm of last year, as seen from a Central European perspective.
