Discover the Lusophone’s Literature World at the 15th Literacki Sopot Festival!

From 20–23 August, Sopot will host the 15th edition of the Literacki Sopot Festival, this year dedicated to the literature and culture of Portuguese-speaking countries.

For four days, readers and literature enthusiasts will have the opportunity to meet acclaimed authors, take part in inspiring discussions, panel debates, theatre performances, film screenings, workshops, and many other events held across the city. As always, the heart of the festival will be Goyki 3 Art Inkubator.

Since its launch in 2012, the festival has become one of Poland's leading literary events. Each edition highlights the literature of a different country or linguistic area, creating a unique space for cultural exchange and dialogue. Previous editions have celebrated, among others, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, and Spanish-speaking countries.

This year's focus on the Lusophone world offers a unique opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of voices from Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Cabo Verde and other Portuguese-speaking countries. Beyond literature, the festival invites audiences to explore different perspectives, cultures, and ways of understanding the world through meaningful conversations with writers and artists.

The Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce is looking for interns!

Are you looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an international business environment? Join the Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (PPCC) for a 2–3-month on-site internship in Warsaw and become part of a team connecting businesses from Poland and Portugal.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to:

-Take part in international business projects connecting Polish and Portuguese companies.

-Support the organization of business events, networking meetings, conferences, and other initiatives.

-Work directly with entrepreneurs, partners, and members of the Chamber.

-Gain practical experience in an international business environment.

-Develop valuable project management, communication, and organizational skills.

-Build a professional network and establish contacts with the international business community.

-Contribute your own ideas and have a real impact on the projects you support.

Your responsibilities:

-Assisting in the organization and coordination of business events and meetings.

-Supporting communication with members, partners, and stakeholders.

-Conducting market and business research.

-Preparing materials related to Chamber projects and activities.

Depending on your interests and skills, you may also:

-Support our website and social media channels.

-Prepare newsletters and promotional content.

-Assist with translations.

We are looking for someone who:

-Has strong organizational and communication skills.

-Has excellent written and spoken Polish and English (Portuguese is a plus).

-Is proactive, curious, and eager to learn.

-Enjoys working in an international and dynamic environment.

-Is interested in business, international cooperation, and event management.

Yesterday was World PR Day!

And it gave us the perfect opportunity to share an insight we recently heard

IGCC Meeting: Planning Future Events and Enhancing Business Networking

The Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce was pleased to participate in the recent meeting of the International Group of Chambers of Commerce (IGCC), focused on planning upcoming initiatives and coordinating dates for future events.

Established in 2005, the IGCC (Międzynarodowa Grupa Izb Handlowych) was created to provide a unified platform for communication between the international business community and the authorities of the Republic of Poland. Today, the IGCC brings together 18 Chambers of Commerce, representing 24 countries and more than 2,000 companies operating in Poland and internationally.

The meeting focused on ideas for enhancing networking initiatives and improving the participant experience at future events. Participants also exchanged views on ways to increase engagement and support the continued growth of the IGCC business community.

The PPCC team looks forward to continuing the conversation and strengthening future cooperation within the IGCC network.

Strengthening Portugal–Poland Business Connections

We were delighted to take part in the recent e.Talks session dedicated to business opportunities between Portugal and Poland, bringing together companies and experts committed to strengthening economic cooperation between our two markets.

Representing the Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (PPCC), we had the opportunity to present how the Chamber supports Portuguese companies looking to enter and expand in the Polish market—from market insights and business matchmaking to trusted local connections and practical guidance throughout their business journey.

We were also pleased that our Board Member, Adam Tencza, representing PayTel S.A. (Grupo SIBS), joined the discussion and shared valuable insights on cross-border business cooperation and market opportunities.
