Account Manager – Short Job Description

• Maintain and develop relationships with international agents and business partners.

• Coordinate activities related to booth reservations, negotiations, and contract finalization.

• Support the acquisition of new agents through competitive fair analysis and database building.

• Organize and conduct meetings with agents; prepare reports and follow-ups.

• Ensure smooth communication and proper ex*****on of arrangements between agents and the trade fair team.

• Participate in international delegations to competitive fairs to establish new partnerships and strengthen relationships with existing ones.

• Work directly related to the organization of international trade fairs – cross-department coordination, support in event preparation, and partner assistance before and during the fairs.

A step forward in cooperation: CEICF is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Podlaskie Chamber of Aviation to explore the development of a sustainable aviation hub in Poland.

We are grateful to begin a new chapter of collaboration. The Chinese-European International Cooperation Foundation (CEICF) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Podlaskie Chamber of Aviation.

Together, we will work to explore the feasibility of a "Green Airport" initiative—a future-focused project aimed at creating a sustainable cargo and logistics hub in the Podlaskie region.

This partnership is founded on a shared vision for promoting economic cooperation and sustainable development between Europe and China. By working closely with our Polish partners, we hope to contribute to regional growth and strengthen trade links, all while prioritizing environmental innovation.

From November 30, 2024, to December 31, 2025, the visa exemption policy for ordinary passport holders from Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia and Japan will be implemented on a trial basis. In addition, China has decided to optimize its entry policy simultaneously, extending the visa-free stay period from the current 15 days to 30 days.

Job Position: Business Development Manager for EV Charging Infrastructure
Job Location: Warsaw, Poland

Job Description:
- Responsible for EV charging infrastructure business development, market insight, establishing connectivity with local customers and associations, understanding key requirements of major customers, plan new solutions and products.
- Have a skilled, versatile, creative, and experienced BDM with a technical background.
- Understand the EV charging infrastructure market, major customers, and competitors well.
- Rich experience in charging modules/stations, design, R&D, and commissioning (either is ok, the more the better)
- An excellent communicator with multiple business development, marketing, product management, communication, and engineering backgrounds.
- Willing to assume responsibilities and drive tasks to achieve your goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- High-level Customer Communication & Key Account Management
- Market insight and customer requirements management.
a. Market inputs/analysis
b. Competitor inputs/analysis
c. Plan/roadmap suggestion for more suitable products and solutions for the European market.
- Preparation of Business Plans for the Polish Market in alignment with account manager
- Primary customer interface for all aspects (together with account managers), including technical meetings and offer management
- Technical support for conferences/summits and key projects.

Job Requirements:
- Master's or higher degree in engineering.
- Over 5 years of working experience in the EV charging infrastructure market.
- Strong Network in the Polish and European Charging Business
- At least 2 years of Experience working for a local CPO
- Excellent communication skills, analytic and soft skills
- Fluent in English with great intercultural social and communication skills, ability to work in international teams
- Willing to travel across the EU

China has decided to implement a 15-day unilateral visa-free policy for Polish citizens

Since last year, China has unilaterally waived visa requirements for several countries. So far, China has granted unilateral visa-free access to France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg. Visa exemption has also been granted to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Georgia, and other countries.

Starting from March 14, China will further implement a pilot visa-free policy for six countries: Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Likewise, China hopes that more countries will also provide visa convenience for Chinese citizens, jointly build a fast network for cross-border personnel exchanges, and promote the accelerated resumption of international passenger flights.

China has tried out a unilateral visa-free policy for six countries, including France and Germany

In order to further promote people-to-people exchanges with China, serve high-quality development and open up to the outside world, China has decided to expand the number of unilateral visa-free countries on a trial basis, and extend the unilateral visa-free policy to ordinary passport holders from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia.

During the period from December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2024, holders of ordinary passports from the above countries may enter China visa-free for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends and transit for no more than 15 days. Those who do not meet the visa exemption requirements from the above countries still need to obtain a visa to China before entering the country.

The First China-France Science and Technology Day Featuring "Nuclear Fusion"

From October 25th to 26th, the 2023 first China-France Science and Technology Day event with the theme of "Fusion Hefei, Lighting the Future" was held in Hefei. This event focused on the field of "nuclear fusion" and built on the long-standing partnership between the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) and the Institute of Plasma Physics, Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to conduct academic discussions and seek cooperation opportunities.

The event was co-sponsored by Hefei Municipal People's Government and the French Embassy in China. The Nuclear Energy Counselor of the French Embassy, the Scientific and Technological Counselor of the French Consulate General in Shanghai, as well as representatives of French scientific research institutions and enterprises such as the Nuclear Energy Counselor of the French Embassy, Air Liquide, Thales Group, Orano Group, Framatome Group and Assystem were invited.

Sino-French fusion nuclear energy cooperation began in the early 1990s. In 2017, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the French Atomic Energy Commission signed an agreement to formally establish the Sino-French Fusion Joint Center. In recent years, the Institute of Plasma Physics, Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has jointly undertaken the No. 1 final assembly project of the ITER project with Framatome and other partners, and has successively reached cooperation with Air Liquide, Assystem, Orano, Thales and other French companies.

This China-France Science and Technology Day event means that the two sides will carry out more in-depth cooperation in the field of "nuclear fusion".
