🚀 Who is a CPTO
And why do founders want to hire them?

One insight from our partners at Mission Hire: founders are increasingly looking for technology leaders who think beyond engineering.

The most common CPTO job descriptions in 2026 have surprisingly little to do with shipping code faster.

Instead, they focus on things like:
📈 Owning product outcomes, not engineering metrics.
💰 Understanding unit economics and business impact.
🔮 Making technology bets that will matter years from now, not just next quarter.
🤖 Building AI-first organizations, not just AI-powered products.
🏗️ Creating systems that scale instead of relying on heroic individuals.

What’s interesting is that founders themselves often struggle to define the ideal profile.

Should a CPTO be stronger in technology? Product? Business? Leadership?

The answer seems to be: all of the above.

And that’s exactly why great CPTOs remain so hard to find.

👾 What would you ask engineers from Google, Dropbox, and other industry leaders about AI and software development?

A panel discussion on how AI is changing software development is coming to the next AI Shift Meetup.

🎶 Summit in Warsaw — product updates, Karol Nawrocki & Darren Aronofsky on stage, and a tech event inside an opera house. Quick recap!

Yesterday, Poland’s biggest AI success story hosted its summit at the Opera House in Warsaw.

A few highlights:

🌪️ ElevenLabs unveiled several product updates. Two demos stood out: text-to-speech running fully on-device, without the cloud, and a travel AI agent that can talk with you naturally, search for flights, make reservations, and help plan trips.

💡 CEO Markus Villig shared a simple idea about why Central and Eastern Europe has become such a strong tech hub: great technical education and hardworking people who look to the future with optimism.

🎬 The lineup featured Karol Nawrocki, Darren Aronofsky, Markus Villig, and Andrew Reed from Sequoia Capital — a reminder that Warsaw is attracting world-class speakers and deserves more events like this.

🎭 The venue was a perfect match for the theme. The summit took place inside Warsaw’s Opera House, opening with a live opera performance and later featuring a piano concert on stage.

✨ As event organizers ourselves, we especially appreciated the production: strong branding, stylish visuals, and plenty of real product demos. Thoughtful, polished, and well executed.

🇵🇱 The presence of Poland’s top political leaders highlighted the growing importance of technology and innovation for the country’s future.

Thanks to the ElevenLabs team for bringing together founders, builders, investors, and creators from across the ecosystem. We hope to see even more events of this scale in Warsaw in the years ahead.

Looks like it’s time for another AI meetup!

The last big AI event we hosted was three years ago. (Okay, technically there was also a meetup on AI agents last year. Still.)

Back then, we were talking about what AI might change. These days, it’s easier to ask what it hasn’t changed.

This time, we’re bringing together people from three worlds — engineering, investing, and marketing — to talk about how AI is reshaping the way they work, build, decide, and create.

For now, save the date:

📍 July 2 | Warsaw | Google for Startups Campus

More details soon.

It’s going to be 🌪️🌪️🌪️

5 years ago, Ū Hub was born 🖤

Honestly? Back then, I had almost nothing.
No team. No money. No idea if this would even work.

There was only one idea — to create a place for people who are not afraid to build, try, fail, and keep going.

I started Ū Hub alone.
Right after moving from Ukraine to Poland.
And before that, leaving Belarus because of chaos and fear for the future.

It was really scary to start life from zero in a new country.
But somehow, Ū Hub appeared. Small, fragile, but very alive.

Over these 5 years, a lot has happened.
Some people supported us.
And some people tried to use the project or take my “baby” away.

But I fought for Ū Hub as a mother fights for her child :)
I took care of it, helped it grow, protected it, and believed in it — even when things were very hard.

And of course, Ū Hub would never exist without the people who were there from the very beginning.

Thank you to Sergey Budkovski (Skich), Kiryl Valoshyn (Angels Band), Victoria Umanska (Mama Vdoma), Damian Matkowski (Just Join IT), Aleksandr Valodzin, Alexander Nevedovsky (No Cap), Olga Mozharovskaya, 🌎 Maciej (Maciek) Sadowski (Startup Hub Poland), Darya Ksianzova (Zubr Capital), 🌈 Borys Musielak (SMOK Ventures), Nick Mikulich, Veronika Shendo, Klim Khaletski, Tatsiana Kapitonava, Kseniya Hadzetskaya, Uladzislau Hapanovich, Polina Reut, and many, many others.

And this is only a small part of the people behind Ū Hub.
One day, there will be a full Ū Hub wall of fame. Promise :)

Over these years, I have understood one very important thing.
There are so many kind, honest, bright, and wonderful people in this world.

And I feel like today is your day too.

Because you are not afraid to try.
To help.
To make mistakes.
And to keep moving forward.

Ū Hub loves you.
And I love you even more ❤️

— Use observability tools to analyze model performance
— Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory testing
— Conduct API testing and investigate issues independently
— Provide feedback on UX, accessibility, and performance
— Improve QA processes and foster a strong quality culture within the team

👾Requirements:
— 5+ years in QA with ownership of product quality (not just test case ex*****on)
— Experience as the sole or leading QA in a team
— Understanding of AI/LLM testing: prompt handling, evaluating model outputs, identifying unstable behavior
— Strong manual testing skills and solid test design techniques
— API testing experience (Postman, Swagger, scripting), ability to troubleshoot independently

InspireXchange.nl invested €25K into GUIDE. They met during our event ❤️‍🔥

Alex Lindholm , the founder of InspireXchange was one of the speakers at our Se###es Night event back in February. During networking, he met Sophia Mokhar from GUIDE.

GUIDE is building an app that puts emotional compatibility at the core of dating — reimagining connection for a generation burnt out by algorithms.

Now they met again in Amsterdam — and GUIDE received its first investment.
