In today’s speech, Dawid will talk about what holds us back from sharing our ideas and how to break through that hesitation. Get ready for real-life reflection and a push to speak up a bit more than you usually would:)

What gets lost between cultures and what helps us connect despite the differences?

At our next meeting, led by Dominika, we’ll talk about intercultural communication: different ways of thinking, speaking, reacting, and understanding each other. Expect interesting speeches, new perspectives, and plenty of moments that might make you look at communication a little differently:)

Join us for a relaxed Toastmasters get-together by the Warta River, because Toastmasters isn’t just about the official meetings:)
On May 22 at 6 PM, we’re meeting on the left side of the Queen Jadwiga Bridge for a casual evening of picnic snacks, games, and easygoing conversations.

Bring something to share if you like, come as you are, and feel free to invite friends, everyone’s welcome! It’s the perfect chance to connect and enjoy the community beyond the speeches💙

People – the hardest to manage?

In true Toastmasters spirit, tomorrow’s session dives into one of the most relatable leadership challenges - people! Managing different personalities, expectations, and communication styles is where real growth happens.

During the meeting, two speakers will take on the challenge of managing a difficult audience. Volunteers will be assigned special roles designed to make a standard speech more challenging. The host will also explore the internal motivators that drive people who naturally command exceptional attention.

Is it manageable? You’ll have to judge for yourself.
