From July 1st to 8th, we had the pleasure of hosting the Green Steps youth exchange in Krasiczyn, Poland, bringing together 35 young people from Poland, Portugal, Italy, Romania, and North Macedonia to take real steps toward a more sustainable future 🌍🌱
During the exchange, participants:
🔹 joined hands-on ecological workshops on sustainability, zero waste, and recycling
🔹 shared environmental challenges and ideas through debates and discussions
🔹 explored best practices from each country
🔹 designed local eco-actions to implement after the exchange
🔹 built strong international friendships through shared purpose and collaboration
🌲 One of the highlights of the exchange was our meeting with representatives of Nadleśnictwo Krasiczyn, Lasy Państwowe who shared their expertise on forest management, native species, and the role of green areas in preserving ecosystems.
🏛️ We also held an engaging debate and open discussion with the Mayor (Wójt) of Krasiczyn Commune - , who shared his perspective on local environmental policy and listened to young people’s ideas on community-level ecological action. This dialogue added real local relevance to our international initiative.
This exchange wasn’t just about learning — it was about action, connection, and long-term impact 🌱🌍
