From 25–29 May, three participants represented HEY at the Erasmus+ training course "Human Rights Odyssey" in Karlovac, Croatia! 🇭🇷✨
This project focused deeply on human rights, encouraging participants to explore the rights we enjoy today while critically discussing the possible emergence of a 4th generation of human rights in an era increasingly shaped by technology and AI. 🤖💻
Through discussions, teamwork, and non-formal learning activities, our team examined current and future challenges related to human rights, digitalization, and AI. The training provided an incredible space for exchanging ideas, developing critical thinking skills, and collaborating with passionate young people from different backgrounds.
📜 The Final Outcome: Participants co-created the Karlovac Declaration on the 4th Generation of Human Rights, a document containing principles, demands, and proposed rights aimed at protecting human dignity and freedoms in the digital age.
🌍 This project was a powerful reminder of the endless possibilities Erasmus+ offers bridging borders, empowering youth to tackle global future challenges, and fostering lifelong friendships.
