Scented Eagles, 2025-2026
Beeswax candle(s), essential oils

An ongoing project exploring national symbols and commodification. These simple objects juxtapose the form of a flag finial–an American Bald Eagle–with a ubiquitous home decoration. As each nation needs its own animal avatar, every home requires a distinctive style: self expression through purchase. The candles can be burned directly above the flag, or stand-alone as a subtle interior accent. Made from natural bees wax and essential oils, the scented eagles are available in a wide variety of colors and scents.

Orły Zapachowe, 2025–2026
Świeca(-e) z wosku pszczelego, olejki eteryczne

Projekt badający symbole narodowe i ich komercjalizację. Te proste obiekty zestawiają formę zwieńczenia masztu flagowego — amerykańskiego bielika — z powszechną dekoracją domową. Tak jak każdy naród potrzebuje swojego zwierzęcego symbolu, tak każdy dom wymaga własnego stylu: autoekspresji zmaterializowanej w zakupach. Świece mogą być palone bezpośrednio nad flagą lub być potraktowane jako samodzielny, subtelny akcent wnętrza. Wykonane z naturalnego wosku pszczelego i olejków eterycznych, zapachowe orły są dostępne w szerokiej gamie kolorów i zapachów.

A person can live in a place for decades, leave fingerprints, hair, and warmth, yet still be considered “absent” by the law. Proof of Presence examines the gap between lived existence and institutional recognition. The domestic space and political space in the exhibition poetically and critically question who has the authority to define presence, and who is condemned to absence.

Meet the artist:
Sage (Shu Tzu) Lin 林書慈
is a non-binary Taiwanese artist and director based in Chicago who working across moving images, soundscapes, light, and shadow. They reconstruct time and memory within specific political and cultural contexts, they reexamine the fragile and textural aspects embedded in language and communication. Sage’s practice extends from two-dimensional imagery into physical materials such as fiber, paper, found objects, and the human body, where they experiment with the intersections of light, surface, and tactility into space.

Sage holds a BFA in Animation from Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA), Taiwan and an MFA in Film, Video and New Media from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), United States. Sage’s works have been shown both locally and internationally. Including Art on the Mart, Poor Farm, Comfort Station, Hong Kong ifva Festival, Ireland Mother Tongues Festival, South Taiwan Film Festival, and more.

Sage (Shu Tzu) Lin 林書慈 to niebinarna tajwańska osoba artystyczną, mieszkająca w Chicago, pracująca z obrazem ruchomym, pejzażami dźwiękowymi, światłem i cieniem. W swojej twórczości rekonstruuje czas i pamięć w określonych kontekstach politycznych i kulturowych, przyglądając się delikatnym, teksturalnym aspektom zakorzenionym w języku i komunikacji. Praktyka Sage wychodzi poza obraz dwuwymiarowy, sięgając po materiały fizyczne, takie jak włókna, papier, obiekty znalezione i ludzkie ciało eksperymentując na styku światła, powierzchni i cielesności w przestrzeni.
Prace Sage były prezentowane zarówno międzynarodowo, jak i lokalnie m.in. w Art on the Mart, Poor Farm, Comfort Station, Hong Kong ifva Festival, Ireland Mother Tongues Festival, South Taiwan Film.

W najnowszym NN6T notes na 6 tygodni tekst Agnieszki Kowalskiej o Festiwalu Ery Kosmicznej, który wydarzył się we wrześniu w Oleśnicy oraz wystawie "Problem N Ciał, która trwa do końca listopada. Dziękujemy wszystkim i zapraszamy na Dolny Śląsk!

Główną inspiracją dla Festiwalu Ery Kosmicznej w Oleśnicy był Pomnik Ery Kosmicznej autorstwa Jerzego Boronia, stojący w centrum miasta. Pomysłodawcami wydarzenia są Aleksandra Wałaszek i Sam Stevens z FORMA Otwarta Oleśnica, para w życiu i sztuce, których połączyła m.in. mapka wsi Damnica niedaleko Słupska narysowana przez prapradziadka artysty, wspólne projekty oparte na budowaniu kolekcji rzeczy codziennych i tworzeniu relacji z przypadkowymi ludźmi, no i Oleśnica.

O Festiwalu Ery Kosmicznej, którego pierwsza edycja odbyła się we wrześniu tego roku i o tym, dlaczego warto pracować w małym mieście, z twórcami rozmawia Agnieszka Kowalska.

Romeo Gomez Lopez

Jego prace “Czy androidy śnią o elektronicznych roślinach”, “Les Futurmis”, “Problme Trzech Ciał”, są częścią wystawy „N Body Problem.”

Urodzony w 1991 roku, mieszka i pracuje w Mexico City. Gómez López wykorzystuje różne elementy kultury masowej, jak religia, postacie polityczne czy science fiction, aby krytykować konserwatywny charakter współczesnej sztuki. Jego prace kwestionują narzucone normy cis heteroseksualności w sztuce, prezentując erotyczną wizję i używając humoru oraz pornograficznej wyobraźni.

Romeo Gómez López brał udział w licznych wystawach indywidualnych i zbiorowych, m.in.: Museo Tamayo (Meksyk, MX), Cloud Seven (Bruksela, BE), Museo Anahuacalli (Meksyk, MX), Kurimanzutto (Meksyk, MX), Travesía Cuatro (Guadalajara, MX).
Romeo Gómez López jest współzałożycielem Salón Silicón, projektu będącego hybrydą galerii i nieformalnego kolektywu artystycznego, założonego w 2017 roku w celu wspierania pracy artystek i członków społeczności LGBTQ+.

Born in 1991, he lives and works in Mexico City MX. Romeo Gómez López uses various elements of mass culture, such as religion, political figures and science fiction, to critique the conservative nature of contemporary art. His work challenges notions of compulsory cisheterosexuality in the arts with an erotic vision, using humor and a pornographic imagination to show a resilient alternative. Romeo Gómez López has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, including Museo Tamayo (Mexico City, MX), Cloud Seven (Brussels, BE), Kurimanzutto (Mexico City, MX), Travesía Cuatro (Guadalajara, MX), Salón Cultural Futurama (Mexico, MX). Gómez López is co-founder of Salón Silicón, a project that is a hybrid of a gallery and an involuntary art collective, founded in 2017 to support the work of female artists and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Dominika Łabądź

Jej praca „Włącz się. Dostrój się. Zakorzeń się” jest częścią wystawy „N Body Problem”.

Artystka sztuk wizualnych, doktora sztuki, nauczycielka akademicka. Mieszka i pracuje we Wrocławiu i Szczecinie. Wykłada na Akademii Sztuki w Szczecinie, gdzie wraz z Aleksandrą Ska współprowadzi Pracownię Afektywnych Praktyk Artystycznych. Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych we Wrocławiu.
Tworzy na styku sztuki i przestrzeni społecznej. Interesuje ją operatywność radykalnej wyobraźni, języka oraz potencjału sztuki jako działania. W swojej praktyce chętnie podejmuje współprace, kwestionując artystyczny ideał indywidualizmu.

Współzałożycielka i aktywna uczestniczka licznych kolektywów i inicjatyw artystycznych, m.in.: Galerii U (2009–2015), 69 sekund na ucieczkę (2012–2013), Części wspólnej – Archiwum Społecznego (2016–2017) oraz Galerii ArtBrut (2020–2022). Od 2018 roku, wspólnie z Joanną Synowiec, prowadzi wydawnictwo Dzikie Przyjemności. Autorka licznych wystaw i projektów w Polsce i za granicą.

Her work “Turn on. Tune in. Root Down ” is part of the exhibition “N Body Problem.”

A visual artist, Doctor of Fine Arts, and academic teacher. She lives and works in Wrocław and Szczecin and teaches at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, where, together with Aleksandra Ska, she co-runs the Studio of Affective Artistic Practices. A graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.

Her work operates at the intersection of art and social space. She is interested in the agency of radical imagination, language, and the potential of art as action. In her practice, she often engages in collaboration, questioning the artistic ideal of individualism.

She is a co-founder and active participant in numerous artistic collectives and initiatives, including Galeria U (2009–2015), 69 Seconds to Escape (2012–2013), Common Ground – Social Archive (2016–2017), and Galeria ArtBrut (2020–2022). Since 2018, together with Joanna Synowiec, she has run the publishing house Dzikie Przyjemności (Wild Pleasures). The artist participated in many art events in Poland and abroad.

Max Guy (ur. 1989, McAllen, Teksas) to artysta multidyscyplinarny, który pracuje z papierem, wideo, performansem, asamblażem oraz instalacją. W swojej twórczości wykorzystuje materiały zapożyczone oraz oparte na prostych gestach. Interesuje go ergonomiczny sposób refleksji nad światem i filtrowania go przez osobiste afekty.

Guy uzyskał dyplom BFA w Maryland Institute College of Art oraz tytuł MFA w Department of Art, Theory and Practice na Northwestern University. Jego prace były prezentowane w USA oraz za granicą.

Max Guy (1989, McAllen, Texas) is a multidisciplinary artist who works with paper, video, performance, assemblage, and installation. He uses appropriated material and deskilled working methods as a fast, ergonomic way of reflecting the world and filtering it through personal affects.

Guy received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and an MFA from the Department of Art, Theory and Practice at Northwestern University. His work has been exhibited in Chicago, nationally, and internationally.
