The Tertio Millennio Seminar on the Free Society was founded in 1992 by Michael Novak, Rocco Buttiglione, Fr Richard John Neuhaus, Maciej Zieba OP, and George Weigel to deepen the dialogue on Catholic social doctrine between student from North American and Europe.The seminar is built around an intense study encyclical Centesimus Annus (John Paul II, 1991), supplemented by readings from the classics of American political theory and contemporary articles.

The Tertio Millennio Institute invites you to apply for an international Seminar on the Free Society, organized in cooperation with the U.S.-based Ethics and Public Policy Center.

Tertio Millennio Seminar is an intensive, two-week educational program that will take place in July in Kraków, Poland. All sessions are held in English and cover topics such as political philosophy, Catholic social teaching, economics, and contemporary cultural challenges.

The seminar brings together young leaders from Poland, the United States, and Central and Eastern Europe. The program features lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and opportunities for networking and dialogue in a diverse, international setting.
