To Dzieło Kolpinga, które w Polsce funkcjonuje już od ponad 30 lat. Dzieło Kolpinga w Polsce zrzesza kilkadziesiąt stowarzyszeń zwanych Rodzinami Kolpinga, które działają dla swoich lokalnych społeczności. Jest organizacją realizującą inicjatywy charytatywne oraz projekty na rzecz osób bezrobotnych, seniorów, młodych ludzi i liderów społecznych. Główna siedziba organizacji znajduje się w Krakowie, ale teren działań Rodzin Kolpinga obejmuje całą Polskę. Nasza organizacja otwarta jest na ludzi, którzy pragną znaleźć pomoc i zrozumienie, ale też zachętę do działania. ENGLISH
The International Kolping Society is a catholic social organization founded by Adolph Kolping. The members create a family-like and life accompanying community. The International Kolping Society promotes through education and activities the development of its members in many fields of the daily life. It consists of local Kolping families which form diocesan or regional organizations and National Kolping Societies. Goals and tasks
According to its programme the Kolping Society wants to:
• enable its members to prove themselves as Christians in the word
• in their profession, marriage and family, in the Church,society and state
• to offer help to its members and to the society as a whole
• to promote the common good in the Christian spirit through the active participation of its members, individually or as a group, and to take part in the continuing improvement and humanization of the society. Members
Today the International Kolping Society is represented in more than 60 countries with 450,000 members around the world. The organization consists of regional groups, the so-called Kolping families. They are organized in diocesan and national organizations. Currently there are about 5,000 Kolping families world-wide. DEUTSCH
KOLPING INTERNATIONAL besteht aus dem Internationalen Kolpingwerk (IKW), Sozial- und Entwicklungshilfe des Kolpingwerkes e.V. und der Internationalen Adolph-Kolping-Stiftung. Das IKW ist ein katholischer Sozialverband, der von Adolph Kolping gegründet wurde. Die Mitglieder bilden eine familienhafte und lebensbegleitende Gemeinschaft. KOLPING INTERNATIONAL fördert durch Bildung und Aktionen die Entwicklung der Mitglieder in vielen Bereichen des täglichen Lebens. Es gliedert sich in örtliche Kolpingsfamilien und deren Zusammenschlüsse in Diözesan- bzw. Regionalverbände und Zentralverbände (Nationalverbände). Das Kolpingwerk will gemäß seines Programmes
• seine Mitglieder befähigen, sich als Christen in der Welt und damit im Beruf, in Ehe und Familie, in Kirche, Gesellschaft und Staat zu bewähren;
• seinen Mitgliedern und der Gesellschaft Lebenshilfen anbieten;
• durch die Aktivitäten seiner Mitglieder und seiner Gruppierungen das Gemeinwohl im christlichen Sinne fördern und an der ständigen Erneuerung und Humanisierung der Gesellschaft mitwirken. Mitglieder
Das Internationale Kolpingwerk ist heute in über 60 Ländern der Erde mit 450.000 Mitgliedern vertreten. Der Verband gliedert sich in örtliche Gruppen, die so genannten Kolpingsfamilien. Sie wiederum sind in Diözesan- und Nationalverbänden zusammengefasst. Zur Zeit gibt es etwa 5.000 Kolpingsfamilien weltweit.
