🌪 Welcome to the Second Session!

We are excited to continue our Neurology Teaching Series 2026 with this week’s interactive lecture:

📅 Dizziness – The Basics
👩‍🏫 Tutor: Helin Savsin
📌 CDK Room 5 at 18:30

Dizziness and vertigo are among the most common presentations in neurology wards — and understanding how to explore it further is a critical clinical skill for anyone working in acute medicine. In this session, you will learn how to:

• Differentiate peripheral vs central vertigo
• Approach dizziness using a structured clinical method
• Apply key bedside examination techniques
• Strengthen your clinical reasoning skills

✨ There will also be a chance to win small gifts during the session!

This will be an interactive session with questions, discussion, and practical clinical thinking.

We look forward to seeing you there !

Neurology Teaching Series 2026: We are excited to launch a new Neurology Teaching Programme designed for medical students and junior doctors interested in exploring adult neurology and pediatric neurology beyond the standard curriculum. Running from March to June 2026, the programme will feature interactive workshops, case-based sessions, and lectures from professors, neurology residents, and clinicians, focusing on developing clinical thinking and exploring areas of neurology that are often underrepresented in undergraduate teaching. 📚 First upcoming session: Neurology Journal Club
📅 March 11, 2026
📍 CDK Room 5, 18:30 👨‍🏫 Tutor: Jake Jedruszczak In this interactive session, participants will learn how to critically appraise a neurology research paper and evaluate its relevance to clinical practice — an essential skill for anyone interested in academic medicine or evidence-based neurology.👩‍⚕️ Open to clinical-year medical students and junior doctors✨ Certificates of attendance will be provided 🔗
Stay tuned for more sessions throughout the programme!
