and supportive environment. Each meeting gives members several opportunities:

- Conduct meetings:
Members learn how to plan and conduct meetings.

- Give impromptu speeches:
Members present one- to two minute, impromptu speeches
about assigned topics.

- Present prepared speeches:
Members present speeches based on projects from Toastmasters’ communication and leadership program. Projects cover topics such as speech organization, vocal variety, language, gestures and persuasion.

- Offer constructive evaluation:
Every speaker is assigned an evaluator who points out speech strengths and offers suggestions for improvement. We meet EVERY Wednesday at 6.00 pm in-person in

Our club gathered for an inspiring workshop led by our President, Jakub, on the topic of "How to Craft Compelling Speeches."

Jakub shared a wealth of practical tips and techniques for creating more engaging presentations. We had the opportunity to immediately practice our newly acquired skills, making the learning experience hands-on and interactive. His use of concrete examples throughout the session made the concepts easy to understand and apply in real-world situations.

Michał facilitated our Table Topics session, bringing plenty of humor and spontaneity to the meeting. The energy continued as participants led their own mini-workshops—we learned basic salsa steps and explored boxing fundamentals, showcasing the diverse talents within our community.

🚴🚴🚴 BIKE Trip in mid-May! 🚴🚴🚴
Spring has just started, and we’re organizing a fun bike trip to celebrate 🚴🏰🏞️! We’d love for you to join us as we ride from Kraków toward Ojców, exploring the scenic route and the beauty of Ojcowski National Park along the way.

Trip is for everyone. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and connect with others 🙌 while discovering picturesque landscapes and unique spots in one of the most charming regions near Kraków.

What I need to have: a bike which is working, and a good humour! Some money for coffee/lemonade/beer/dinner. A bottle of water and a helmet.
Where: Bike trip to Ojców from Krakow center (23km in one way, 46m both ways)
When: 17.05.2025 (Sunday, start at 9:00am). Trip takes around 6-7h (~2h to Ojców, 2-3h there and comes back to Krakow).
Condition: weather needs to be good enough to go, otherwise another timeslot (at June/July) will be chosen.
Starting point: in the center, in front of the Wawel Dragon

Last Wednesday’s meeting, led by Marlena, was filled with the vibrant energy of spring. With the theme “Colours of Spring,” Marlena brought a fresh perspective that inspired everyone to embrace the season’s renewal and creativity.

The atmosphere was lively and full of enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of spring itself. Members and guests alike enjoyed the refreshing energy, engaging in speeches and impromptu sessions that showcased both confidence and spontaneity.

🎉 What a celebration! 🎂

Our Toastmasters Kraków Public Speaking Club turned 16, and we marked this special milestone with an evening full of energy, laughter, and heartfelt memories.

Our President hosted the celebration, guiding us through a joyful meeting where members shared their favorite moments and stories from their Toastmasters journeys. It was inspiring to see how much our club has grown — and how many friendships have been built along the way.

We also had our club awards, recognizing the dedication and achievements of our members. The title of Most Dedicated Member went to our President — a true example of commitment and leadership! 🌟
And Arttu continues to reach for the stars, delivering the highest number of speeches and proudly representing our club as the winner at both the club and area levels! 🚀

Of course, no birthday is complete without a toast, and many members volunteered to share their memories and kind words. We ended the evening with delicious cake and a glass of alcohol-free champagne — because after all, we’re only 16! 🥂🎈

It was a night to remember — full of gratitude, celebration, and the true Toastmasters spirit! 💫

We’re thrilled to celebrate two incredible achievements from our club members at the Area Level Contests!
🏆 Arttu took 1st place in the International Speech Contest, captivating the audience with his inspiring message and confident delivery.
🥈 Mateusz earned 2nd place in the Evaluation Contest, impressing everyone with his thoughtful analysis and supportive feedback.
Both Arttu and Mateusz will now represent our club at the Division Level Contests in Łódź — a fantastic milestone on their Toastmasters journey!
A huge thank you to Justyna for volunteering as a judge — contests like these wouldn’t be possible without such dedication and commitment.

Our meeting began with an inspirational networking session, where members shared their public speaking goals and exchanged valuable tips to help each other grow.

Marlena delivered an insightful speech that reminded us how important it is to educate ourselves about investment methods and start thinking early about our retirement plans. Her message encouraged everyone to take a proactive approach to financial awareness.

To wrap up the evening, Umesh led a wonderful Table Topics session, sparking creativity and spontaneous speaking with engaging and thought-provoking questions.
