We are back. 🐾❤️
It has been a year of silence. A year where the world seemed to stop, and our hearts were put to the ultimate test. Today, we are finally ready to tell you why we’ve been away and how we are slowly finding our footing again.
A Year of Battles 😔
Last year, our foundation faced its hardest challenge yet: our CEO was diagnosed with hard cancer. The woman who has spent her life fighting for those who have no voice had to fight for her own life...
It was a grueling, painful year. To ensure the safety of our rescues, we had to step back. We focused on making sure every animal under our care at that time was either adopted or placed in a loving temporary home. While Agnieszka fought through treatment—and survived—she remains under constant medical watch.
The Winter That Tested Us ❄️
While we were still recovering, winter hit hard. We were called out to heartbreaking inspections—finding dogs on chains, shivering in the freezing cold. It wasn't the easiest time to come back, but we couldn't look away.
Even in our darkest months, the Million Hearts Foundation didn't stop entirely:
✅️ Ukraine: We sent loads of humanitarian and animal aid across the border, as we always have.
✅️ Our Seniors: We looked after the forgotten elderly in our local area, delivering warm clothes, shoes, and food to those with no one else to turn to.
✅️ Poland: We still rescued animals and put them into safe places.
Starting Over from Scratch 💔
We’ve lost our website, and our internal structures need rebuilding. We are literally standing up on shaky legs, trying to walk again. Currently, we have several dogs and cats under our care undergoing intensive veterinary treatment.
