About the project:
The course will focus on how music can help individuals and communities express emotions, strengthen self-confidence, build connection and find constructive ways to respond to difficult life situations.
Throughout the training, participants will reflect on:
🌟the role of music as a valuable support tool in youth work and community-based practice
🌟use of music in work with refugees, migrants and other groups affected by displacement, exclusion, trauma, or social instability
🌟open discussion on how music can be connected with elements of art therapy and how creative musical processes can support emotional well-being, inclusion, and resilience
👤Participant profile:
💫Have experience in working with young people, or strong motivation to begin
💫Have a practical connection to music, not only as listeners, but also through playing, creating, or using music in practice
💫Have previous experience in using music in educational, social, youth work, or community contexts
💫Have experience in working with refugees and other vulnerable groups, or a strong willingness to develop skills in this area
💫Speak English at a communicative level
💫Be open to teamwork, collaboration, and creative group work
Eligible countries:
- All EU Member States.
- Non-EU countries associated with Erasmus+: Iceland, Norway, North Macedonia, Serbia.
- Western Balkans.
- Eastern Partnership countries: Ukraine, Moldova.
