I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with delicious food and even better company! 🦃🍂
As the turkey settles and we move into the holiday season, I’ve been reflecting on how grateful I am for our community here in Sedona - Arizona and our friends across the ocean in Jasło. Being the Chair of the Jasło Committee and serving on the Board of Sedona Sister Cities is a labor of love, but it is made easy by the incredible volunteers and supporters we have.
Thank you for helping us build bridges between cultures. Here’s to a season of continued friendship and peace. 🇺🇸🇵🇱


Mam nadzieję, że wszyscy spędzili wspaniale Święto Dziękczynienia, pełne pysznego jedzenia i – co ważniejsze – w doskonałym towarzystwie! 🦃🍂
Gdy świąteczne emocje powoli opadają, a my wkraczamy w kolejny okres świąteczny, ogarnia mnie ogromna wdzięczność za naszą społeczność tutaj w Sedonie - Arizonie oraz za naszych przyjaciół za oceanem, w Jaśle.
Pełnienie funkcji Przewodniczącej Komitetu Jasło oraz zasiadanie w Zarządzie Sedona Sister Cities to praca płynąca prosto z serca, która staje się o wiele lżejsza dzięki naszym niesamowitym wolontariuszom i sympatykom.
Dziękuję Wam za pomoc w budowaniu mostów między naszymi kulturami. Niech ten nadchodzący czas upłynie nam pod znakiem dalszej przyjaźni i pokoju. 🇺🇸🇵🇱

As Chair of the Jasło Committee of Sedona Sister Cities, I am truly honored to witness the historic step taken last Saturday in Jasło – the signing of the Letter of Intent between the City of Jasło and the City of Sedona.

This is the beginning of an inspiring journey of friendship and cooperation across the ocean. Our partnership will focus on three key areas:
✅ Economic exchange and support for local businesses
✅ Culture, education, and youth programs
✅ Tourism – especially enotourism, which is such an important part of both regions’ identity

Together, we will build bridges that connect our communities, open new opportunities, and create lasting friendships. 💙

Congratulations to Mayor Adam Kostrząb, the City of Jasło, and the City of Sedona for this milestone. A heartfelt thank you also to the U.S. Consulate General in Kraków for their presence and support.

This is just the beginning – and the best is yet to come! 🌍✨

Jako Przewodnicząca Komitetu Jasielskiego w Sedona Sister Cities mam zaszczyt i ogromną radość być świadkiem historycznego wydarzenia, jakim było podpisanie w minioną sobotę w Jaśle Listu Intencyjnego pomiędzy Miastem Jasło a Miastem Sedona.

To początek inspirującej drogi przyjaźni i współpracy ponad oceanem. Nasze partnerstwo będzie skupiać się na trzech kluczowych obszarach:
✅ Wymiana gospodarcza i wspieranie lokalnej przedsiębiorczości
✅ Kultura, edukacja i programy dla młodzieży
✅ Turystyka – w szczególności enoturystyka, która jest ważnym elementem tożsamości obu regionów

Razem będziemy budować mosty, które połączą nasze społeczności, otworzą nowe możliwości i stworzą trwałe przyjaźnie. 💙

Gratulacje dla Burmistrza Adama Kostrząba, Miasta Jasła oraz Miasta Sedona za to ważne osiągnięcie. Serdeczne podziękowania kieruję również do Konsulatu Generalnego USA w Krakowie za obecność i wsparcie.

Z Jasła, serdeczne pozdrowienia od zarządu Sedona Sister Cities! 🇵🇱🇺🇸

Jesteśmy zaszczyceni, że możemy być w tym pięknym mieście, umacniając naszą siostrzaną więź. Dziś wieczorem będziemy mieli przyjemność uczestniczyć w wernisażu wyjątkowej wystawy "PLAJA i Przyjaciele" w Galerii Jasielskiego Domu Kultury.
To wspaniała okazja, aby podziwiać bogactwo talentu 24 jasielskich artystów, którzy zaprezentują aż 86 prac w tak różnorodnych mediach jak malarstwo, rzeźba, ceramika, szkło i fotografia. Cieszymy się, że możemy spojrzeć na świat oczami jasielskich twórców i czerpać radość z obcowania z tak inspirującą sztuką.
Jeśli jesteście w Jasle, gorąco zachęcamy do odwiedzenia wystawy! Wernisaż rozpoczyna się dziś o godzinie 18:00, a ekspozycję będzie można oglądać aż do 26 września.
Dziękujemy za tak ciepłe przyjęcie! Jesteśmy dumni z naszej współpracy i nie możemy się doczekać, aby zobaczyć, co jeszcze przyniesie nasza siostrzana relacja.


Greetings from Jasło from the board of Sedona Sister Cities! 🇵🇱🇺🇸

We are honored to be in this beautiful city, strengthening our sisterly bond. This evening, we will have the pleasure of attending the opening of the unique exhibition "PLAJA i Przyjaciele" (Plaja and Friends) at the Gallery of the Jasło Cultural Center.
This is a wonderful opportunity to admire the wealth of talent of 24 Jasło artists, who will present 86 works in such diverse media as painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, and photography. We are happy to look at the world through the eyes of Jasło's creators and draw joy from contact with such inspiring art.
If you are in Jasło, we highly encourage you to visit the exhibition! The opening starts today at 6:00 PM, and the exhibition can be viewed until September 26.
Thank you for such a warm welcome! We are proud of our cooperation and cannot wait to see what else our sisterly relationship will bring.

We are proud to share that the Verde Valley Wine Consortium will officially participate in the Jasło International Wine Festival this August 29–31, 2025! 🇵🇱🇺🇸

This is a historic moment that brings together two wine regions—Jasło, the birthplace of Polish winemaking, and Arizona’s Verde Valley, a young but thriving American Viticultural Area (AVA). Their presence at the festival is not only about wine, but also about friendship, culture, and economic collaboration between our communities.

The participation of Verde Valley wineries is another milestone in strengthening the ties between Sedona and Jasło, following last year’s delegations, cultural exchanges, and upcoming educational projects. Together, we are building bridges through wine, science, and the arts.
