📚 Meet Our Vice President Education — Katarzyna Januszewska!

We are delighted that Katarzyna Januszewska will continue serving as Vice President Education.

Katarzyna has already demonstrated exceptional dedication to helping members achieve their educational goals. Through her support, encouragement, and attention to each member's progress, many speakers have advanced on their Toastmasters journeys.

The role of Vice President Education is one of the most important positions in any Toastmasters club. It involves coordinating meeting roles, supporting Pathways progress, and creating opportunities for members to learn and grow.

Her experience, organizational skills, and passion for education make her the perfect person to continue in this role.

🎉 Meet Our New President — Oleksii Prun!

We are excited to introduce Oleksii Prun, the new President of TriCity Toastmasters!

Over the past year, Oleksii served as Vice President Public Relations and made a significant contribution to the growth and visibility of our club. Through his dedication, creativity, and consistent efforts, more people discovered TriCity Toastmasters and joined our community.

What stands out most about Oleksii is his commitment to getting things done. Whether it was promoting events, welcoming guests, or supporting fellow members, he always approached challenges with enthusiasm and a solution-oriented mindset.

As President, he will be responsible for guiding the club, supporting the Board, and ensuring that TriCity Toastmasters continues to be a place where people grow as speakers and leaders.

We are confident that under his leadership the club will continue to thrive and reach new milestones.

Thank You, Karolina Natalia Kazanowska-Rzeźnik ! 💐

One of the highlights of our Election day on June 10 was having Karolina as our meeting host. 🎤

Karolina guided the evening with professionalism, confidence, and warmth, ensuring that one of the most important meetings of the Toastmasters year ran smoothly from beginning to end.

Many members know Karolina not only as an experienced Toastmaster but also as someone who has generously supported Tricity Toastmasters as a Club Coach. She helped our club grow, develop, and overcome challenges.

Starting July 1, Karolina will take on an exciting new role as Division E Director, supporting clubs across multiple cities and helping shape the future of Toastmasters within the new District 231.

Karolina, thank you for your support, guidance, and dedication. We are grateful for everything you have done for our club and wish you every success in your new leadership journey.

👔 Oleksii Prun — President
After a successful year as VPPR, Oleksii has shown outstanding dedication to growing and promoting our club. We are confident he will be a great President and lead TriCity Toastmasters to new achievements.

Katarzyna continues as VPE, bringing valuable experience and a strong commitment to member development.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Szymon! 🎉

Today we celebrate someone truly special — Szymon Bartoszewicz, our outstanding Sergeant at Arms and one of the most beloved members of TriCity Toastmasters.

It is hard to imagine anyone who knows Szymon and doesn't like him. In fact, it might be impossible! His positive attitude, incredible charisma, kindness, and ever-present smile have become an important part of our club. That smile is contagious and has brightened countless meetings over the years.

Many of us would agree that Szymon is one of the finest Sergeant at Arms our club has ever had. His dedication, reliability, and willingness to help have made a lasting impact on TriCity Toastmasters and on everyone who has had the pleasure of working with him.

Szymon, thank you for everything you have contributed to our club. We are grateful that you have been such an important part of our Toastmasters family.

At our recent TriCity Toastmasters meeting, the title of Best Evaluator of the Evening went to Veronika Hordieieva for her insightful evaluation focused on body language and audience connection.
What makes a great evaluator?
It's not just about praising a speaker. A strong evaluator can recognize what's working well while also identifying opportunities for improvement. The goal is not criticism, but helping speakers grow, develop new skills, and become even more effective communicators.
Veronika's evaluation struck exactly that balance — encouraging, practical, and thought-provoking. Her feedback helped the speaker see both their strengths and the next steps in their development.

At our recent TriCity Toastmasters meeting, another award found its deserving winner. This time, the title of Best Evaluator of the Evening went to Karina Szema for her thoughtful and insightful evaluation.

What makes a great evaluator?

It's not just about identifying areas for improvement. The best evaluators know how to recognize strengths, highlight what is already working well, and encourage speakers to build on those successes. They provide constructive feedback that helps speakers grow while also reinforcing the qualities that make their presentations effective and memorable.

Karina's evaluation demonstrated exactly that balance: acknowledging strengths, offering practical suggestions, and delivering feedback in a way that motivates rather than discourages.

After all, great evaluations are one of the reasons Toastmasters is such a powerful learning environment. They help speakers improve, gain confidence, and continue developing their communication skills.
