During our latest meeting, Aleksandra Rzeźnik delivered a heartfelt speech titled:
👉 “People from All Over the World”

Sharing her personal Erasmus+ journey, Aleksandra took us through her experiences of living, studying, and connecting with people from different countries.

She showed how meeting people from different cultures changes the way we see the world — and ourselves. Through stories about friendships, daily life, and communication, she highlighted how important it is to stay open and curious.

One of her key messages was simple and powerful:
👉 don’t judge people by stereotypes — get to know them first.

Because real connection comes from understanding, not assumptions.
👉 It’s not where people are from — it’s who they are.

👉 Want to share your story and meet people from all over the world?

✨ Evaluation begins before the speech starts ✨

At our latest meeting, Szymon Bartoszewicz took on the role of evaluator for Aleksandra Rzeżnik and showed how powerful this role can be.

From the very beginning, Szymon didn’t just introduce the speaker — he created atmosphere. With a warm “buonasera” and a connection to Italy, he immediately brought the audience into the theme of the speech.

What made his approach especially strong was clarity.
He guided the audience on what to listen for — eye contact and speech coherence — helping everyone become more engaged listeners. And that’s a key skill of a great evaluator: not only giving feedback, but shaping how others experience the speech.
👉 Evaluation doesn’t start after the speech — it starts before it.

🎤 Finding your voice in the world of AI and art 🎨
During our latest meeting, Veronika Hordieieva delivered a speech titled:
👉 “How to Sell in 2026”

She explored the future of creativity in a world where AI is becoming more present — and reminded us of something essential:

👉 people don’t connect with algorithms — they connect with emotions.

Veronika spoke about the importance of expressing yourself, sharing your work, and not being afraid to show your uniqueness — whether through art, speaking, or content.

Because creating something is only the first step — sharing it is what gives it real value.
👉 Your voice matters. Your story matters.

👉 Want to learn how to speak with confidence and share your ideas?

At our recent TriCity Toastmasters meeting, Katarzyna Januszewska took on the role of evaluator for Veronika Hordieieva — and showed why this role is just as important as being a speaker.

Before the speech even began, Kasia introduced the topic in a way that sparked curiosity and engagement. She made the audience interested, present, and ready to listen — and that’s already part of great evaluation.

Because being a strong evaluator is not just about giving feedback.
It’s about listening carefully, noticing details, and helping the speaker grow.

A great evaluator supports, guides, and inspires. They don’t just evaluate the speech — they elevate it.

👉 In Toastmasters, great speakers grow thanks to great evaluators.

✨ Last Wednasday we held another inspiring meeting of TriCity Toastmasters — Meeting #417 ✨

Our host for the evening, Igor Pieper, led us through a thoughtful and very relatable session titled:

👉 “Minimize to Maximize”

Instead of a typical structured talk, Igor shared ideas inspired by books like "The Essentialism Planner" by Greg McKeown, "The 80/20 Principle: Achieve More with Less" by Richard Koch, and "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle, turning them into simple, practical reflections we could all relate to.

The main idea was surprisingly simple: having less can actually give us more. Less stress, more clarity, more freedom. We often hold on to things, tasks, and even habits that don’t really serve us anymore — and that quietly takes away our energy.

Igor encouraged us to pause and ask ourselves honest questions: Do I really need this? Would I choose it again today? And more importantly — am I spending my time on what truly matters to me?

What made this session especially powerful was the shift beyond just physical things. Minimalism here wasn’t only about decluttering your room — it was about decluttering your life. Your time, your focus, your commitments. Because when we try to do everything, we often lose what matters most.

We also had a chance to reflect on our own priorities during the meeting — thinking about what we care about most and how much time we actually give to those things. And that’s where the real insight comes in.

Because sometimes doing less… is exactly what helps us live more.

✨ Another inspiring evening at TriCity Toastmasters — Meeting #417 ✨

Yesterday we came together once again for a warm, engaging, and thought-provoking meeting.

The evening was hosted by Igor Pieper, who introduced a powerful theme:

👉 “Minimize to Maximize”

It was one of those sessions that makes you pause and reflect on your everyday life — what you do, what you own, and what truly matters.

With great speeches, an energetic Table Topics session led by Przemysław Rzeżnik, and a supportive atmosphere throughout the evening, the meeting once again showed what Toastmasters is all about — growth, connection, and courage to step outside your comfort zone.

🎤 We also enjoyed speeches by:
Veronika Hordieieva and Aleksandra Rzeżnik

🙏 Thank you to everyone who joined us — you made this evening special!

At Meeting #416, we were inspired by a powerful and insightful speech from Katarzyna Januszewska 🎤

In her speech “Emotional Intelligence”, Katarzyna explored one of the most essential skills of the modern world — the ability to understand and manage our emotions. Referring to the concept popularized by Daniel Goleman, she reminded us that emotional intelligence is key to building healthy relationships and navigating everyday challenges.

Katarzyna shared practical techniques for managing emotions, including recognizing triggers, reflecting on our reactions, and using simple tools to regain balance. Her message was both thoughtful and highly practical — something we can all apply in our daily lives.

🔥 And it was not just a regular meeting — it was a contest evening!
We are proud to share that Katarzyna won Best Speaker of the night 🏆
Congratulations on this well-deserved success — an outstanding performance! 👏

At Meeting #416, we also had the opportunity to hear a thoughtful and practical speech by Andrii Shevchenko 🎤

In his speech, Andrii explored one of the most challenging aspects of communication — how to handle difficult conversations. Whether it’s giving tough feedback, making hard decisions, or delivering uncomfortable news, he shared valuable insights from his own experience.

One of his key messages was clear: preparation is essential. Difficult conversations are never easy, but being honest, respectful, and direct can make a real difference. He also reminded us that we are not robots — emotions are part of the process, and learning how to manage them is crucial.

💡 From being clear and avoiding unnecessary “sandwiching” to showing respect and giving people time to process — his speech offered practical tools we can all use in real life.

🔥 And this was not just a regular meeting — it was a contest evening, full of energy and growth!
