One of the main goals of exchange “EVS is the best” is to organize activities which will bring the ideas of EVS to the local community and young people of Bydgoszcz. Thus, this exchange is focused, first of all, on the creation of the theatre performance “One day in volunteer’s life”. Its aim is to approach the idea of volunteering and its benefits to youngsters while promoting volunteering abroad
and raising awareness on other cultures. The theatrical sketch together with “Youth in Action” Program will be performed in the high schools of Bydgoszcz. The interactive game will also break the ice and students will invited to Bydgoszcz city centre to draw “A Map Alive”. Furthermore, in order to raise the knowledge of local community on EVS and showcasing that “EVS is the best” participants of the youth exchange will paint “A map alive” in the city centre of Bydgoszcz. The map will represent Europe and neighboring countries and youth assisting in creation of the map will stand on the countries where they would like to do their EVS. Participants of the project will broaden their knowledge on Europe and the possibility to carry out EVS in various countries. The youth exchange will take place from 21 to 29 September, 2012. There will be one leader and five participants respectively from Spain, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia and Poland, aged from 18 to 30. They will work in group on three different workshops:
Participants will promote the richness of their cultures by means of intercultural evenings and will have the possibility to do the sights in Bydgoszcz through an interactive game that will enable them to discover city centre. They also will visit “Fundacja Wiatrak”, meet its collaborators and present EVS volunteers. We plan to complete the exchange by generating a video of our exchange “EVS is the Best” so everyone can disseminate the advantages of EVS in their countries!! In order to ensure the success of our project we would like to have a great input from the participants, their ideas will be listened to and accepted. For this reason and to motivate participants, we will live up our workshops as much as possible with energizers, jokes, by staying together, visiting several places together, etc., but it is also important that leaders inform their own groups about what exactly will take place during the exchange and that they come here mentally prepared for integration, fun and work.

Before coming to exchange:
- Leaders and participants will have to think how they will represent their country and culture in an interactive, interesting way through pictures, film, or music, dances, food, etc.
- Prepare some energizers with which we will start each day.
- Who’s doing what: we have to decide from the beginning (during the second day of the meeting, 22 September) how to separate participants in the various workshops (media, editorial-promotional, theatre group), roles, timetable, etc.
