Wszystko zaczęło się od grupy 5 osób, która postanowiła zorganizować kameralną imprezę charytatywną w gronie najbliższych znajomych. W niespełna 5 dni poruszyli białostockie niebo i ziemię, osiągając wynik 300 firm i osób prywatnych zaangażowanych w organizację akcji. Koncert charytatywny przerósł oczekiwania organizatorów. Zebrano ponad 100 000 zł w jeden dzień! Pieniądze zostały przeznaczone na
leczenie Marcelinki Podlaskiej chorej na złośliwego raka oka - siatkówczaka. Grupa przyjaciół złapała bakcyla. Chciała dalej pomagać. Dziś działa pod skrzydłami Fundacji Podlascy Aniołowie, którą tworzy i rozwija.

It all started several years ago when five people from Podlaskie Voivodeship (the very North part of Poland) decided to organize a small charity event. The plan was to invite just closest friends, and all of a sudden it turned into a big city concert. It took us less then a week to engage three hundred local companies and a huge staff into action. The results of the event exceeded our expectations. In one day we were able to collect 100 000 PLN (about 20,000 USD). The money from this event was collected Marcelina who needed an immediate surgery to fight eye cancer. Our group which organized the concert caught the bug. There was no turning back. Our goal was to help more people in need by using our talents, connections and charisma. We formed what we call “Local Angels Foundation” and continued raising funds for kids. When the war in Ukraine started, we stepped in immediately. We started the action “Help for UKRAINE”. This is what we have accomplished so far:
We organized over two hundred shipments of food, supplies, and equipment to immigrants on the boarder and citizens who are still in Ukraine
We organized transportation and accommodation for over 800 Ukrainians
We supplied Ukrainian immigrants with clothing, food, hygiene items, and school supplies for kids
Together with MED Fire we launched a medical point on the boarder which we continuously supply
We set up a field hospital on the boarder in Dorohusk
We bought and equipped an ambulance which is helping people with medical needs from Ukraine
We bought and sent a few SUV’s to Ukraine
We organized a big charity concert engaging local artists to collect more funds
