The reopening of Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque for worship on 24 July 2020 marked a historic milestone, symbolizing the determination of our noble nation to uphold its will, history, and civilizational heritage.
The return of the call to prayer within Hagia Sophia represents not only the reopening of a place of worship, but also the realization of one of the greatest dreams of the late Professor Dr. Necmettin Erbakan, who devoted his life to the vision of a strong and great Türkiye.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his leadership in making this historic decision possible, and we respectfully salute the steadfast will and determination of our noble nation.
We pray to Almighty Allah that the call to prayer rising from the domes of Hagia Sophia, a shared trust of our civilization for centuries, will continue until the end of time. On the 6th anniversary of this blessed decision, we commemorate this historic occasion with heartfelt joy and gratitude.
Happy 6th Anniversary of the Reopening of Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque for Worship.
