The Living Water Ministry Pakistan The Living Water is a registered Non-profit Organization incorporated on April 01, 2022, under the Societies Act, 1860.

It is approved under section 2(36)(c) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. Our vision is to shelter the Orphans and help kids Caring for Orphans and Supporting Less Fortunate Children in Pakistan

The number of orphan children in Pakistan is said to be constantly rising Apart from several other socio-economic reasons, terrorist attacks, and blasts most of these children have lost either one or bo

th of their parents. Children deprived of special care may likely fall victim to child abuse, beggary, trafficking, child labor, juvenile delinquency, and other anti-social behaviors. About 57% of children are orphans because their fathers passed away. Whereas 10% are because their mother passed away. Only 5% of them are orphans because they have no one to care for. It is reasonable to combine the " Wage Labouring", mother's and particularly father's death, and the 'no one to care' categories, as they all contribute towards poverty. As an outcome, the combined factors reveal that almost 85% of the children are Orphans. Either due to the abject poverty or situations leading to poverty, parental death, divorce, or separation. And access to education is e predominant cause why there are so many children who become orphans in Pakistan. Currently, Pakistan has the world’s second-highest number of out-of-school children (OOSC) with an estimated 22.8 million children aged 5-16 not attending school, representing 44 per cent of the total population in this age group. In the 5-9 age group, 5 million children are not enrolled in schools and after primary-school age, the number of OOSC doubles, with 11.4 million adolescents between the ages of 10-14 not receiving formal education. Disparities based on gender, socio-economic status, and geography are significant; in Sindh, 52 percent of the poorest children (58 percent girls) are out of school, and in Balochistan, 78 percent of girls are out of school. Nearly 10.7 million boys and 8.6 million girls are enrolled at the primary level and this drops to 3.6 million boys and 2.8 million girls at the lower secondary level. Due to the absence of financial resources, a reduction or loss of family income pressurizes parents to employ their children in seasonal farming activities or other similar activities to supplement the depleted financial resources. For example, a sudden spike in food or energy prices drastically reduces the level of disposable income, forcing young children into early employment in menial jobs rather than pursuing further education. Or an illness of one family member may require the children of a related family to take up new responsibilities and provide assistance, thus pressuring the child to abandon his or her education. Our vision is to shelter the Orphans and help kids See less

Founded in 2021, The Living Water is just getting started

Founder Sharon Cyrus's father is a pastor during his visits for evangelism in different areas of Pakistan along with his dad he found out how orphans and poor kids' lives are being ruined and after a couple of years when he was almost ready to start his university in Canada he got a calling from God to start a nonprofit for orphans and poor kids. The Compassion and vision he received from God would later lay down the foundation for The Living Water.

As we step into a new year, we thank God for His faithfulness and for every life touched through our mission. In the past year, we have seen hope restored, smiles returned, and opportunities created for underprivileged children in Pakistan—made possible through prayer, generosity, and compassion.

This new year, we renew our commitment to serve with love, dignity, and faith, believing that every child is precious in God’s eyes and deserving of a brighter future. May the year ahead bring healing, education, protection, and lasting change for the children and families we serve.

Thank you for standing with us. Together, with God’s guidance, we look forward to another year of hope, service, and transformation.

Due to severe flooding in Pakistan, many areas were left vulnerable, and dengue spread rapidly, causing many tragic losses. But God provided for us in an incredible way. We were able to go and distribute mosquito nets to the people in need, offering protection and hope during a very difficult time. We thank God for His provision and for allowing us to serve others.

🙏 A Cry for Sindh: Bringing Hope, Water, and Food

“Whoever gives even a cup of water in My name will not lose their reward.” — Matthew 10:42

In the remote villages of Sindh, Pakistan, thousands of families wake each day without what we often take for granted — clean water and nourishing food. Children drink from polluted ponds. Mothers skip meals so their little ones can eat. Families pray for survival.

💧 Clean water is life.
🍞 Food is hope.

The struggle is real:
• Contaminated water causing disease and suffering
• Malnutrition among children and elders
• Families forced to make impossible choices daily

But there is hope — we can bring God’s love to life through action. Even the smallest donation, prayer, or shared message can become a lifeline for someone in desperate need.

Let’s answer the call to serve. Let’s bring clean water, food, and hope to Sindh’s hurting families. Together, we can be the hands and heart of God in a place that is crying out for help.

Rebuild دیوارِ یقین — Wall of Faith

Together, we rebuild with faith.

Yesterday, during a fierce storm of heavy winds and rain, the wall of our beloved church fell. This wall was not just bricks and mortar — it was a symbol of our faith, hope, and unity. For years, it has stood as a shelter for prayers, celebrations, and moments of peace.

Now, we face a great challenge but also a chance to unite and rebuild. Reconstructing the wall means restoring a sanctuary where our community can continue to grow in faith and love.

We humbly ask for your generous support to help rebuild دیوارِ یقین — the Wall of Faith — so our church can remain a safe haven for all.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Guide our hands and hearts as we rebuild the walls of our church. Let this restoration be a sign of Your strength and a beacon of hope. Bless every giver, and may our church stand firm as a sanctuary of faith, love, and peace. Amen.

In Pakistan, it is estimated that 21.7 million people have no choice but to drink contaminated water, causing widespread suffering and unnecessary deaths from waterborne illnesses, liver and stomach diseases.

Every dollar you give goes directly to the purchase and delivery of filters, giving you maximum impact for your generosity. But the REAL value is knowing YOU have improved the lives of an entire household for years to come! Each filter provides a minimum of 5 years of clean, safe water to a family, preventing illness and keeping both children and adults healthy so they can focus on school and providing for their families. Reaching our fundraising goal will provide filters to an entire village in rural Pakistan!

If you could change an entire family’s lives with a small, one time gift, is that something that would bring you joy?

In fact, the impact is even bigger than that! Water filters are often shared with neighbors and extended families, multiplying the number of people who benefit! In practice, one filter provides water for at least two households, AND promotes connection and sharing within the community.

One filter costs $50 + 5 for delivery. For my numbers people, here’s a breakdown: With each filter lasting a MINIMUM of 5 years, providing for two or more households, the impact adds up quickly. With an average of 5 people per household, x 2 households, the cost of clean water is just $1 per person PER YEAR! Just one dollar gives someone in need an entire year’s worth of the most critical resource, and one of the most limited in the deserts of rural Pakistan. You can hardly buy a single bottle of water for $1. Filters are both cost effective and sustainable, and they change lives!

Long term, our goal is to reach as many people as possible with access to clean, safe drinking water. This current campaign will provide 60 filters, supplying water to around 120 households, which means water for over 600 people for years to come! As an added benefit, all filters are locally sourced in Pakistan, providing jobs for people in the community and saving on shipping costs.

I don’t know about you, but I REALLY like the way those numbers break down! In a world where the news can make us feel helpless, this is one way we really CAN make a difference, one water filter at a time. Will you help us?

Today, we are in a village of 45 families, representing a diverse mix of tribes, where poverty and lack of basic amenities define daily life. The people here face the heartbreaking reality of drinking contaminated water from a nearby canal, which has led to widespread suffering from illnesses such as Hepatitis C and other stomach diseases. Tragically, many lives have been lost due to these preventable conditions.

To bring relief, we have provided clean water filters to 10 families, offering hope and protection from these deadly diseases. However, there are still 35 families in desperate need of this life-saving resource. We are praying that God will move hearts to provide the funds necessary to help these families as well.

In addition to meeting their physical needs, we’ve also had the privilege of sharing the word of God with them, which they received with open hearts and great joy. Together, we can bring health and hope to this community. Will you help us provide clean water and a brighter future for all the families here?

Warm Greetings from the Living Water Ministry in Pakistan!

We're on a mission to bring clean, filtered water to families in desperate need.

21.7 million people in Pakistan still have no choice but to drink dirty water, and while the need is overwhelming, we at LWMP strive to do our part with the faith in knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ multiplies with what little we can bring.

All funds raised will go towards water filters in the homes of families who need them the most as we reach as many lives as possible.

Any contribution you can make towards this endeavor is greatly appreciated.
If you can't give today, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, churches, or other organizations.

We believe in the power of prayer, so please join us in praying that the Lord will meet the need and that He will receive all the glory in the testimony to come, for we can do nothing without our God.

*SPECIAL THANK YOU GIFTS*
For those who donate to provide for one family or more, ($50 covers a filter for one family home), we have made hand-painted ornaments featuring the wise men from the east, following the star to the Messiah.
The script above them is Jesus' name in Urdu (the national language of Pakistan).
