Emergency Medical Camp In Mantho Nala Baltistan

On May 18, 2026, Akhundian Foundation Pakistan (AFP), in collaboration with the District Health Office (DHO) Kharmang, organized an Emergency Medical Camp in the remote area of Mantho Nala, Kharmang, following a sudden outbreak of a viral skin disease affecting school children, women, and other residents.
The medical camp was led by Dr. Sadiq Wazir, APMO Civil Hospital Mehdiabad, who examined patients and provided free medicines. A total of 101 patients received free medical checkups and treatment during the camp.

Mantho Nala is among the most underserved areas of Kharmang, where access to basic healthcare remains limited. AFP expressed sincere appreciation to Dr. Sadiq Wazir, Chief Technician Irfan Ali, Senior Medical Technician, and Syed Shams Kazimi for their dedicated humanitarian service and support.
