Pakistan is not just a piece of land. It is a dream, a struggle, a sacrifice, and a promise โ€” a promise of dignity, opportunity and belonging for every citizen.

On 12th August 2026, that promise came alive at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, as BINAE Welfare Association successfully hosted "Azm-e-Pakistan โ€“ Pakistan Independence Day Inclusive Celebration 2026โ€ in collaboration with Rotary Club of Roshni Karachi, Arts Council of Pakistan & Helen Keller Society.

This was not simply an Independence Day celebration โ€” it was a true picture of DEI: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

๐ŸŒŸ A DAY OF PATRIOTISM, TALENT & INCLUSION

The celebration brought together blind and sighted students, underprivileged children, educators, volunteers, families, community leaders and distinguished guests on one platform.

The program featured the National Anthem, Patriotic Song Competition, Bait Bazi Competition, Debate Competition, Quiz Competition, Essay Writing Competition, cultural performances, and special musical performances, bringing together the rich cultural traditions of Sindhi, Punjabi, Balochi and Pashto communities.

๐Ÿ† Cash prizes and certificates were presented to the winners and participants of the competitions, recognizing their talent, confidence, creativity and dedication.

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ DIFFERENT ABILITIES. DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS. DIFFERENT CULTURES. ONE PAKISTAN.

We were deeply honored by the presence of our distinguished Honorable Mr. Shahzad Sabir, District Governor โ€“ District 3271, Rotary International & Chief Guests, Honorable Mr. Farooq A. Laghari, Director General, Sindh Persons with Disabilities Protection Authority (SPDPA), Government of Sindh.

Their presence added exceptional dignity to the occasion and their encouragement strengthened our shared commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Empowerment.
