It started with ration bags during COVID. What we found along the way was bigger disabled family members in poor households left in back rooms, or sent out to beg, simply because no one had the means to care for them with dignity.
For 6 years, we’ve been changing that wheelchairs, tricycles, walkers, hearing devices, delivered across rural Sialkot. But rough terrain wears chairs out fast, so families often come back on the list.
That’s why we register twice a year, rural areas first. Because dignity shouldn’t depend on distance.
