Joshua Welfare Organization® (JWO) came into existence in June 2009. It is registered under the Society Registration Act (XXI of 1860), with its main office in Warispura, Faisalabad, Pakistan. It is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political humanitarian organization committed to empower, sensitize and mobilize the marginalized and downtrodden communities to use their own talent, time and treasure
on integrated human and social development towards vigilant society having a vibrant-equitable economy, healthy communities and harmonious human relation. As special focus communities, the youth, children, and women, JWO mobilized special workshops, seminars, and debates for youth on topics leadership and vocations to prepare them to cope with future challenges in shaping a new model of economy and society as the next generation of leaders. Children as their successor, even in their childish stage, JWO has designed special indoor and outdoor activities to start building their awareness and capacities. Finally, the organization gave special attention to psychological, physical and capacity enhancement needs of women as the mother and the closest guardian of this youth and children for them to cope their responsibility of giving guidance. It aims to train selected individuals in pilot communities on major learning fields for them to gain enhanced capacities to lead in building model communities. The major learning fields are Socio-Economic, Interfaith Peace, Health & Sanitation, Charity-for-Disaster Preparedness, Formal and Non-formal Education & Awareness. It aims to mobilize the trained communities in this field to build pilot equitable socio-economic ventures in respective communities. Target projects shall indicate High sustainability and Generate average ROI. Interfaith Peace Development (InterFaithDev) Programme
It aims to mobilize the trained communities in this field to campaign in broadening community space for peace at villages and work areas towards the formation of Inter-Village Interfaith Council for Peace in Pakistan. Health & Sanitation Development (HealSanDev) Programme
It aims to mobilize the trained communities in this field to help lay down requirements to build a model Village-Managed Health and Sanitation System at respective communities
E. Charity & Disaster Preparedness Development (CharityPreDev) Programme
It aims to mobilize the trained communities in this field to build a Village-Level Charity & Relief Goods Depository at respective communities and the Inter-Village Charity & Relief Distribution Network in Pakistan
