SGF Situation Report

Location: Additional Court, PS City Tando Adam, District Sanghar
Background
Following reports circulating on social media regarding the alleged kidnapping of four children from Tando Adam, the Child Protection Office (CPO), Sanghar, in coordination with the Social Welfare Department and Sindh Green Foundation (SGF) under its Social Justice Forum programmatic area, responded to the matter to ensure the protection and well-being of the children.
Coordination and Response
Mr. Zulfiqar Unar, Child Protection Officer (CPO), led the entire child protection response, coordinating with the CPO team, the Social Welfare Department, local police, and other concerned stakeholders throughout the process.
Mr. Nawaz Brohi, Assistant Director, Social Welfare Department, Tando Adam, remained actively involved throughout the proceedings and ensured effective coordination among the relevant departments.
Advocate Noor Muhammad Mangi, Founder of the Social Justice Forum, Sindh Green Foundation (SGF), participated throughout the process and provided facilitation and coordination support to the Child Protection Office (CPO) and other stakeholders. Through its Social Justice Forum, SGF remained engaged to help ensure that the proceedings were conducted in the best interests of the children.
Court Proceedings
On 1 July 2026, all four children appeared before the Additional Court, Tando Adam, District Sanghar, along with their mother. After hearing the matter, the Honorable Court ordered that all four children be handed over to their mother.
Current Status
As per the orders of the Honorable Court, all four children have been reunited with their mother through the legal process.
