Aziz Welfare Foundation (AWF) is a non-government and non-profit organization established in 1999. The main objective of the foundation is to provide the preventive and curative health facility to all, regardless of gender, race, color or religion. Further, to provide the formal and non-formal education, skill training, awareness raising, environment protection and disaster management. In its four

teen years of experience, AWF treated more than two hundred thousand patients directly from its health unit. Regularly organizing the medical camps, managing the awareness raising seminars on health and agriculture. Installed hand pumps and deep well to provide the safe/ clean drinking water to community. Provided relief and rehabilitation services to flood victims in 2010 in District thatta and in 2012 in districts Umerkot & Mirpurkhas. Setting Up of AWF

Aziz Welfare Foundation (AWF) is a non-government and non-profit organization established in memory of late Dr. Abdul Aziz by his public- spirited son- a fresh medical graduate. The established clinic at that time was converted into Dr. Abdul Aziz Memorial Hospital. The objective was to address the un-addressed patients in the deep rural area of sindh. Soon after its operation, it was observed that majority of the patients come to hospital at their last stage of disease, consequently, no option left to cure them. The main causes of this situation found were, the traditional methods used to heal the disease, ignorance and poverty. These circumstances urged management to jump into the field to fight against these curse on preventive strategy parallel to healing the diseases. Thus, Dr. Abdul Aziz Memorial Hospital became the cornerstone for the establishment of AWF.

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Kashif Aziz has been appointed as the District Chair Disaster Relief for the year 2025-26!

As an Old Rotarian since 2003, Dr. Aziz brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role. His dynamic work in providing relief during the devastating floods of 2010, 2011, 2020, 2022, and 2024 is truly commendable. His dedication to serving humanity is an inspiration to us all.

As District Chair Disaster Relief, Dr. Aziz will work closely with our District Governor, Shakeel Kaim Khani, to provide critical support and resources to those affected by disasters. His leadership and expertise will be invaluable in helping us respond to emergencies and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
