Raju Mal runs a grocery store in Sangrar town, Sukkur. Every year, just like in 2021, he would set up a sabil outside his home on the 10th of Muharram—a place for offering drinking water during Moharram to remember the tragedy of Karbala. Tragically, on that day, Priya Kumari, his seven-year-old daughter, who was helping serve water to mourners at the sabil, was abducted by unknown individuals. The police's performance has been underwhelming, as they have been unable to locate her in the past Five years. At the time of her disappearance, Priya was a third-grade student in a local private school. Her mother, Veena Kumari, is overwhelmed by sorrow and spends her days in tears, often speaking to the empty walls, longing for her daughter's return. She peacefully protests since so many years for the safe return of her daughter, Priya. Stand with her and raise your voice in support.
