RAHMA Islamic Relief organized its Annual Award Ceremony at Janpur, Rahim Yar Khan, to recognize and appreciate the dedication, commitment, and outstanding performance of its staff members.

A delegation from Charity For Life Denmark, attended the ceremony and distributed awards and certificates among staff members of RAHMA Model School and RAHMA Hospital.

The programme concluded with a dinner, bringing staff and guests together to celebrate their achievements, strengthen team spirit, and promote continued collaboration and unity within the RAHMA family.

A delegation from Charity for Life Denmark visited RAHMA Hospital Janpur, Rahim Yar Khan, where they received a detailed briefing on the humanitarian and healthcare initiatives implemented through the collaboration between Charity for Life and RAHMA Islamic Relief.

The delegation reviewed the hospital’s services and ongoing activities, while discussions focused on future plans, strengthening the partnership, and further expanding and improving healthcare facilities to better serve the local community.

Officials from Charity for Life Denmark, along with representatives of RAHMA Islamic Relief, visited various water filtration plants and hand pumps established under the WASH project in different locations of Tehsil Liaquatpur, RYK.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed the functionality and impact of the water and sanitation interventions and assessed the progress and quality of work being implemented by RAHMA Islamic Relief. The visit provided an opportunity to observe the project’s contribution to improving access to safe and clean drinking water for local communities.

Today, Mr. Sameer Idris, Board Member of Charity For Life Denmark, along with Mr. Riaz Baloch, Board Member of RAHMA Islamic Relief, and Mr. Umair Majeed, Head of Programs, visited RAHMA Model School, Rahim Yar Khan.

During the visit, the Principal presented an overview of the school’s academic activities, achievements, ongoing initiatives, and future development plans. The delegation also held a productive discussion on strengthening educational opportunities, improving learning outcomes, and exploring future initiatives.

International Youth Day is observed every year on 12 August to recognise the potential, creativity and leadership of young people and to highlight the challenges they face worldwide. The United Nations emphasises that young people are essential partners in achieving sustainable development, peace, inclusion and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Across the globe, youth are contributing to positive change through education, innovation, volunteerism, climate action and community service. Empowering young people with quality education, skills, opportunities and a voice in decision-making is essential for building resilient and sustainable communities.

RAHMA Islamic Relief Pakistan believes that investing in young people is an investment in the future. Through education, scholarships, skills development, awareness activities, volunteer engagement and community-based initiatives, RAHMA supports young people, particularly those from vulnerable and deserving communities, to develop their potential and become responsible contributors to society.

On this International Youth Day, let us empower our youth, listen to their voices and create opportunities for them to lead positive change from local communities to the global stage.
