Jamila Sultana Foundation Jamila Sultana Foundation was founded in 2004. In December 2005, a blood bank was added to this facility.

“JSF neither take any financial donation nor allow any individual /organization /institute to take financial donations, except blood donations for thalassemic children” (Official Page) In 2006, we got registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Jamila Sultana Foundation is a welfare health division of Global Pharmaceutical, Islamabad; which is dealing with treatment and prevention of Thalassaemia, a genetically inherited blood disorder. The treatment of Thalassaemia consists of continuous supply of blood and iron chelating medicine, which is provided free of cost to the patients. The foundation focuses on providing best available treatment to ensure normal quality life to Thalassaemics. It is emerging as one of the organizations all around the world making great contribution in combating Thalassaemia. The center has registered about more than 950 patients which are increasing day by day and the center has provision of transfusing 30 patients simultaneously every day under the supervision of a dedicated doctors and friendly staff making a pleasant environment for small children which constitute the majority of the patients. Apart from providing treatment to the existing Thalassaemics, the center is also aimed to prevent the exhibition of the disorder in the future generations and ultimately eradicate it completely in the future.

Today, a meaningful initiative was held by Sidra Foundation, in collaboration with Jamila Sultana Foundation, at the Azadi Auto & Fun Gala at ParkView City Islamabad. 🇵🇰✨

A Blood Donation Camp was organized to encourage the community to come forward, donate blood, and play their part in saving precious lives. 🩸

This initiative was a beautiful reminder that the true spirit of celebration lies not only in enjoying the moment, but also in serving humanity and making a positive difference in the lives of others. ❤️

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the blood donors, volunteers, organizers, medical staff, and supporters who contributed to making this initiative successful.

We are looking for a passionate Blood Program Manager to lead our mission to secure the maximum number of blood donations for thalassemia patients. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan & execute blood donation drives in universities, colleges, and public places.
• Must meet monthly/quarterly blood collection targets for thalassemia patients.
• Build partnerships with educational institutes, corporates, and community groups.
• Coordinate with hospitals, blood banks, and volunteer teams.
• Track donations, report impact, and manage donor databases.
• Spread awareness about thalassemia and the importance of regular blood donation.
Who We’re Looking for:
• 2+ years of experience in program management, NGO work preferred.
