The Holy Prophet PBUH said, “The greatest prayer of all is to serve humanity”. From this hadith we came to realize that aiding poverty stricken and needy people is itself a prayer. As it is, well to do should assist the needy in their individual capacity, BKPSC (Buddha Kheva Philanthropic Sustainability Center) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization helping people improving their socio-econ
omic status in the State of AJ&K. The members of the Hajial family of Ali Sojal in a small village of District Poonch, started working for the well being of people in AJ&K 35 years back. The charity work was going on through the family donations earlier but with the passage of time it was felt that it should be organized in the form of a registered organization to work throughout the region and to broaden the canvas of welfare activities. Now we are registered under the Societies Act 1860 to widen our impact BKPSC has a diversified focus, clearly defined objectives and a consistent approach to its work. Thematic Areas:
