OUR STORY

The story started back in 2015 when our President of DML Foundation started an initiative named DEWAR-E-MEHARBANI . On every Saturday from last 4 years free langar (lunch Meals) are being served to empty stomachs .Always inviting all those who were hungry over for lunch. Soon the dastarkhwan was filled to the brim with people who didn’t have their own means to eat. Every person was family, and each member was instructed to not take more than they can eat so that no one would go back hungry.

Despite the efforts of our team, hunger and poverty are rife in Pakistani society. Being from a privileged background, our president with his entire team felt at unease with the situation.

Every team member had similar concerns, we started a ration drive for widows and for last 4 years monthly ration is distributed among widows on every Saturday, Widows who don’t have any man in there house which can strive to make both ends meet.

Apart from wall of kindness lalazar the organization has started many projects like “SAAF PANI” in this projects many water coolers were placed at different locations in the hot and humid weather to reduce the effect of heat. Initiatives like “AFTAR DASTARKHWAN” went on huge success were the organization use to feed more than 250 people daily in Ramzan.
