Theres a case regarding an elderly patient named Barkat Ali who is in urgent need of support.

After facing severe medical complications primarily the spread of cancer in his leg, the person underwent a life-altering leg amputation. He is now immobile, vulnerable, and entirely without a source of income. With no proper financial means and as he figures out how to navigate through this new situation, he is struggling to afford the most basic needs for his post-surgery care, recovery, and essential medical treatment.

It is a request to help me bring some relief to him. Even the smallest donation can restore hope and dignity.

A 7 year old boy met a tragic accident and needs a reconstructive surgery for his arm as soon as possible. He has a single mother and they're from a Christian family.

The surgery is going to cost ~ PKR 800,000. The details of the case can be shared when requested.

السلام علیکم،

میرا نام نبیل ہے۔ میں اسپائنل کورڈ انجری کا مریض ہوں اور مجھے وہیل چیئر لینے کے لیے آپ کی مدد درکار ہے۔ کچھ عرصہ پہلے ہی مجھے نوکری ملی ہے، لیکن جو وہیل چیئر میرے پاس اس وقت موجود ہے، وہ میرے لیے آرام دہ نہیں ہے۔ اس کے استعمال سے میرے جسم پر زخم (بیڈ سُور) بن گئے ہیں، جس کی وجہ سے مجھے شدید تکلیف کا سامنا ہے۔

He's not targeting any luxury here, like the wheelchairs costing many lacs, it will only cost 45,000 /- but it will enable him access to the basic things that you and I don't need to think about twice. Simply moving around on his own.

Assalamoalaikum everyone,

A teacher I know is trying to collect funds for an aaya at her school, to get a downpayment made at a small place for her. Shes making slightly more than the minimum wage. Her husband also earns through a vegetable cart and she has two sons, one of whom is studying while another has a job paying around 25k a month.

Since the current rise in electricity bills and rental payments (combined more than 30-35k a month which becomes more than 50% of their incomes) led to a situation where the lady's family cannot afford to maintain a house with monthly needs and also clear the electricity and rent dues. This has also led to non payment of electricity bills in some months or clearing dues with the help of colleagues at the school.

The purpose of getting this home for her is to give her breathing room to focus on other expenses with the hope of owning her own home as well. After the initial downpayment, the lady would need to keep paying a small monthly amount, on installments, for the house to become her property, which she is planning to do herself. This installment is much lower than her current monthly rent and hence would relieve some burden.

The teachers have collectively provided 1 lac uptil now and they need to collect a total of 5 lacs. Most of us are fortunate enough t be living in our own homes. Let's become a reason for someone else to have her home. Reach out to me to get more information regarding the case.

I'm collecting donations for 2 school going children in grades 9-10th. Their fees are overdue for a few months due to which they aren't allowed to sit in the next grade classes. Their mother works for my cousin so this is a verified case. ZAKAT is also applicable.

A patient is admitted in Allied Hospital Faisalabad for the treatment of Kidney infection. He is also diabetic and a heart patient. This is an authentic case as the concerned person is a distant uncle of my childhood friend.

He is a father of 4 children and the sole earner of the family. As of yet, he has not been able to provide for his family nor cover his medical expenditures. Any amount of financial aid would help him significantly. We are gathering money to help him bear his medical expenses.

Assalamoalaikum everyone,

Today, I'm back with a case that needs your attention. One of my former colleagues belongs to a safaid posh family, where she supports her family by working. The father has been absent from the household. The mother has worked hard in bringing up her kids in order to make them independent.

Some time ago she had to take up a loan for her sister's wedding, due to pressure from the inlaws. Some of it has been repaid, but since she's the sole earner, and has to manage her home invouding rent and living expenses, it has become impossible to repay the remaining amount i.e. 300k. The relatives who lent the amount are now asking for it back.

They have no assets to sell for this, and since its a loan taken under a time of distress, she has consulted scholars about whether Zakat is applicable in this case and it is.

Please help me in raising this amount for her, whether by sadqa or zakat. I'm attaching my account details. You can pm for more details.

Another case has been brought to me to bring to your attention. A couple undertook a loan for their daughter's wedding, however before they could return it all, the husband passed away.

Since he was the sole earner, the widow has no soirce of income now. Her other children's schooling, rent and kitchen is being managed through monthly help from her other daughter, niece (the girl I know) and other family members. The lender has been bothering them by showing up at their house and is demanding the money. His impatience is threatening their peace, especially with young girls living there and they need help with repaying the remaining loan amount i.e. 120k.

Assalamoalaikum,

This is a fundraiser post to simply make this society a more inclusive place, which it definitely isn't already. A guy from my former workplace needs to buy a new electronic wheelchair for his daily use and commute, as his old wheelchair needs replacement now.

He uses an electronic wheelchair so that he does not have to depend on anyone to move around. He used it to leave his house, ride his custom-made bike, reach the office and work a 9-5 job in order to be independent.

We're all privileged to be able to stand on our feet. I cannot imagine if walking costed us a fortune. If we had to spend extra money simply to use our limbs.

Working towards an inclusive society includes facilitating the person with disabilities with their assistive devices. Please help me play a part by ensuring this guy does not have to struggle with his wheelchair in a deteriorated condition.

The new wheelchair costs 140k (quotation attached) alongwith minimal charges for delivery. I'll be targeting 140k for collection. I've attached my account details with this post incase of anonymous donations. For any queries, please dm me.

I know someone who has been struggling financially, after her father became sick. Because of high sugar and related disease, he had to get his toe amputated. The surgery costed them more than any savings, and now they need help with the follow-up dressings too.

They dont have any accumulated wealth other than the basic income. They have some debt on their heads too now. They've talked to a m***i who said they can receive Zakat too.
