Yesterday, I attended an event where I came across something really interesting — the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
At first, I thought it was just another “personality test”… but it turned out to be much more practical.
It breaks personality into 4 simple dimensions: • Where you get energy (Introvert / Extrovert)
• How you take in information (Sensing / Intuition)
• How you make decisions (Thinking / Feeling)
• How you approach life (Judging / Perceiving)
And combining these gives you a type like INTP, ISTJ, etc.
After reflecting on it, I realized I align with INTP — someone who enjoys logic, systems, and understanding how things work.
What I found most valuable is this: It’s not about putting yourself in a box…
It’s about understanding your natural tendencies and using them better.
For example: As someone inclined towards logic and curiosity, it made me rethink how I approach learning, problem-solving, and even building projects.
Instead of forcing myself into “one way”, I can now focus on what actually works for me.
Still exploring this, but it definitely gave me a new perspective.
Have you ever tried understanding your personality type? What did you discover?
