Workshop on Food Fortification Act – Quetta
HOPE-Balochistan, with support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and WHH, organized a one-day workshop in Quetta to review the Food Fortification Act and address micronutrient deficiencies.
The event brought together government officials, development partners, academia, media & civil society. Participants agreed on key next steps:
✅ Provincial Task Force
✅ Stronger monitoring
✅ Joint awareness campaigns

PO-WASH, with vendor support, conducted layout planning for latrine construction in various villages of UC Khari.
📦 Complaint boxes were also distributed to strengthen community feedback.

🌱 Supporting Farmers in UC Saifabad/Khari 🌱
In Jhal Magsi, we distributed vegetable seeds, fertilizers, tool kits, and fruit plants to empower local households.
✅ Phase 1: 120 households received vegetable seeds & fertilizers.
✅ Phase 2: 80 households received seeds, fertilizers, tool kits & fruit plants.
This initiative promotes climate resilience, food security, and self-sufficiency. Together, we grow stronger! 🌾🌍

📢 Mid-Term Review Workshop on Food & Nutrition Security 🌱
The Mid-Term Review Workshop for the project "Building Resilience through Improved Food and Nutrition Security in KP, Punjab, and Balochistan" by WHH took place on March 18-19, 2025, at Luxus Grand Hotel, Lahore.
Organized by FDO in collaboration with HOPE and LASOONA, the workshop reviewed progress, exchanged insights, and refined strategies to strengthen food security, enhance nutrition, and build community resilience in the targeted regions.

🌟 Theatre & Speech Competition at GBHS Khari! 🎭🎤
HOPE, P.O Nutrition successfully organized a Theatre and Speech Competition under the School Nutrition Club at GBHS Khari, UC Khari.
✨ Highlights of the Event:
🎭 Students performed a theatre drama on the theme "Murtazan Ghaza Sehat Ki Zamanat Hai" promoting the importance of balanced nutrition.
🗣️ Club members showcased their eloquence in the Speech Competition on the same theme.
💜 In honor of International Women's Day, students and teachers paid tribute to women by displaying play cards with powerful key messages.
🏆 The event concluded with the distribution of cash prizes to the winners by the Head Master of GBHS Khari.
Kudos to all the participants for their efforts in spreading awareness about nutrition and women's empowerment! 👏✨
